[option A; audio]
Aaah... testing, testing? One, two, three?
[Sometime during an hour in which the sun is still high up in the sky, one very nonchalant child's voice shows up on the feed. Behind him are the sounds of waves lapping at the surface of something and a light breeze -- noises from the surface.]
New-face here. Super sudden, but I guess you can say I'm in a pinch. I ended up drifting a lot farther than planned while thinking about what to do, so I'm kind of stuck on a tree at sea right now. [sigh] I could swim, but even I can't hold my breath for that long so I was wondering if it was possible to get picked up. Thanks.
[Should anyone be kind enough to come to get him, as he hopes will happen because he reaaaally doesn't want to swim back all that distance, Killua won't actually be hanging off that piece of driftwood. In fact, he'll be standing on it completely out of the water, somehow managing to balance on the round trunk of the tree without so much as a wobble.]
[option B; action (the base)]
[After getting rescued and safely arriving at the base, Killua has a few things he wants to do. Like get clean? Get warm (tropical as the climate may be, it's still not fun letting being out in the water for that long)? Also, food? He immediately takes to padding around the base looking to fulfill those needs.
Despite he's hurry he won't be bumping to anybody. Instead, he'll hop out of your way with ease and raise an arm in casual greeting, flashing a little grin.]
Hi! Are the showers free right now? ... Am I going in the right direction?

I'm not driving any of the vehicles to you, but I can lend you my breathing apparatus so you can swim back. Alternatively, you can wait for someone willing to drive by.
[ Or fly by? Flying god carrier services are most definitely a thing around here. ]

[ Because he is a small person who can't, but also because he doesn't want to... ]
Is it urgent?
no subject
Don't bother! And no, it's not urgent? I've been here for two or three hours already anyway, so I don't think there's much difference now.

[ Which is okay by him?? Agents of evil, they are. ]
Well, whatever suits you. If you're not in danger of starving, dehydrating, or being eaten alive, then I guess it's fine.
[ It's really not fine. ]

[Then why is he asking for help in the first place? Who knows.]
What's your name again? [he asks, like he ever asked in the first place]

[ He might have to feel guilty if someone dies from his laziness... ]

[ Accept oneness with nature, etc. etc. ]
And your name is?
no subject
I'm Killua. Killua Zoldyck... and you?

[ Hamster ant colony? ]
I suppose we could move away or start building on Floater Island if we wanted to, but everyone is too attached to the home they've built for themselves.

Why is it underwater anyway?

[ A group of strangers of vastly different origin getting dumped in the middle of the ocean, their only safe haven a nearby, conveniently empty base maintained by a lone AI? The utter deliberation of the setup originally tripped an alarm of supicion with Loki, and sometimes still does if he dwells on it for long. ]
Floater Island wasn't there to begin with, by the way. We magnetically tethered it to the Aurora when it happened to be drifting by. By then, everyone was already comfortable with living in the underwater base.

[Well, whatever. He was used to being in claustrophobic situations like being locked in the dark dungeony mansion back home, so at least here there are windows.]
I haven't lived in an ocean yet so I guess that's fine.

You might like it. It's like living in an aquarium. The scenery at night can be pretty beautiful, too.
[ Of course, living in a underwater base with way too many people and not a single organizational bone in its body has its flaws, but Loki has learned to tolerate worse. ]
I just hope you like the wilderness.

[Candles everywhere. Although, that would've been quite the story. Oh yeah, the legendary Zoldycks. We don't know if they're real, but they do pay their electricity water and gas bills every month. nbd.]
As long as it doesn't try to kill me I'll accept nature.
