[her cape floats in the water, and her head turns to follow the creatures, studying them but saying nothing for a second while she takes in their coloration and patterns.]

They have nothing to fear in my presence. They should not be scared.

[she lets them swim around her as they would, one of the bolder ones coming up under her cape to dart through.
