002 Kon and Makoto's birthday surprise Video + Action

[The video is dark for a moment with nothing in view until suddenly a light flickers on and Kon’s face is way too close to the screen. He grins at the camera and then glances over his shoulder, seemingly checking for something before turning back and offering the lens a wink.]

So, I can’t say that much ‘cause it’d ruin the surprise, but tonight’s gonna be pretty exciting if ya happen to be in the right place at the right time, just thought I’d-

[That’s Makoto’s voice in the nearby vicinity, and you know Kon is up to some shit as the video quickly cuts off.]

[Distressed and embarrassed, Makoto’s voice is a pitch or two higher than usual. The sound of his voice and quick footsteps go past the hallway like an ambulance’s siren… Now you hear it… now you don’t...]

Part of the deal, dude! [Kon on the other hand is cackling and sounding perfectly at ease with their current...activities and he offers a whoop of— encouragement? Glee? Something more sadistic?—before continuing to belt out a song at the top of his lungs while running through the base. (Makoto sings along--somewhat; murmuring bits and pieces of the lyric and being louder on the chorus. You bet Kon forced him to learn it right before doing this.) Also they’re completely naked, did we mention that? Because they are as bare-assed as the day they were born.]

[After at the very least two laps from one end of the floor to the other, Makoto--very embarrassed, flushed red, and looking like he’s ready to die--decides to stop and make his way into the pool room, because he can at the very least find towels there!]

I can’t believe I did this on my birthday…

[A pitiful, way pitiful whine from his behalf as he disappears inside.]

[Korra just happens to be looking through the fruit in the cupboards, when the boys come streaking through--literally, in a way. A strangled noise escapes her when she realizes they're completely naked, and she claps a hand over her eyes.]

Makoto? Kon? What are you two even doing?!
