[ What's up base, you've got two teenagers who suddenly pop in from inside the barrier, trying to get away from the tentacle monsters trying to get inside the base island.

Max definitely, absolutely screams a little here. Then screams some more when she catches sight of the guy there next to her. Because. What. The. Fuck. It isn’t even him, it’s the monsters?!

Yuri's also too busy freaking out to make any proper introductions (not like he’d really make one anyway) and he points an accusatory finger at Max. ]

Who the fuck are you! [ And then at the monsters] What the fuck are those--AH! [ One of the monsters swings a tentacle at him, and even though it won’t hit him from here, Yuri’s just peacing the heck out of there. ]

Max gasps and tries to grab at Yuri and oh boy oh man oh no, he is so not leaving her here. ] Holy shit, come back!

No way! I’m getting out of here!

Hell no, you’re not leaving me here! You’re gonna get yourself killed by those… [ she really doesn’t want to think about what those things are okay ]

[ ANGRILY GRABS ONTO HER WRIST ] Don’t just stand there, dumbass! [ He’s running off into the distance, away from those...things. ]

[ HUFFS, but lets him grab her wrist and follows him to… wherever he’s running to. ] I’m not trying to! We can’t just, like, run anywhere! What if there’s more of… [ Oh, never mind, THIS IS THEIR BEST PLAN RIGHT NOW ] Okay! Fine! We can’t be the only ones here, right?

[ So this guy probably didn’t somehow shoot himself right into the wrong time period and/or place then, huh? How does any of this make sense then? ] I was so not in a car! There’s no way I could have just, like… Brought you here with me! Shit, I wasn’t even with anyone. You don’t… [ She shakes her head, then glances over her shoulder. Oh yeah, those things are still somewhere back there. ] Okay, this totally sounds like some stupid movie, but you don’t think those things did it, do you?!

[ Yuri, disappointingly, is no time traveler whatsoever. He’s looking at her like she’s spurting nonsense. ] Hah? What the hell are you talking about? I told you I’ve never seen you before in my life! [ HE IS SO DISTRESSEd RIGHT NOW but he looks back at the tentacle monsters. Damn, those things are really freaking him out and he makes a face at them through the barrier. ] I don’t fucking know--I don’t care who are what did it, just get me the hell out of here!

[ In hindsight, which she has none of at the moment thank you, just shooting her mouth off as if he had any idea about her power was a Bad Idea. ] Okay. Okay, never mind! I just… don’t know how to get us out of here! [ SHE DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO TAKE PEOPLE BACK??? And would it even work where would they go would they just end up back at Chloe’s house or his grandpa’s car?? ] Um. There’s gotta be someone else here, right?! It can’t just be all monsters! Just… Just run faster! Till we find someone or somewhere to hide?!

[ That would literally be dragging Yurio into a different universe oh my god. He doesn’t make a huge deal out of it though, more concerned about not dying and looking around frantically. His hand’s still on her wrist and he starts dragging her in a random direction. ] Hey! Anyone out there? Anyone?! [ Someone has to answer, right…… ]

[ Whew, okay, yeah, he’s got the right idea! He’s got the right idea! Time to shout at the top of her lungs here. ] Hey! Hey, somebody help! Anybody!

[ Feel free to hear parts of or the entire conversation telepathically, run into them and reassure them that this is fine etcetc. ]

[ she definitely heard the shouting, and considering everyone is a little on edge now because of the... well, weird ass aliens, izetta rushes to find the source as quickly as she can.

she skids to a stop once she runs into them and... hm. ]

[ she raises her hand in a surrounding motion. ]

We all just suddenly showed up here like you did!

Anyway, Yuri's going to be eyeing this strange person suspiciously, as if he's not telling her everything he needs to know. When it occurs to him that she actually doesn't know anything, he stuffs his hands in his pockets angrily. ]

Fine. If you don't know, I'm asking someone else.

[ NOBODY KNOWS, YURIO ]

They're not going to know either... We have theories? But they're just that.

[ she can't blame him for being angry honestly. ]

Excuse me... but we're doing our best considering our circumstances. I know that this is a stressful situation to be brought into, but you shouldn't belittle everyone's hard work.

[ she looks both apologetic and annoyed, if that's possible. ]

Do you mean the aliens? You should be fine here, there's a barrier up.

They're aliens?! Are you serious right now?

Uh... [She looks over her shoulder again, in the general direction she and Yuri came from.] So they really can't get here?

You should be fine. You can even go outside to the island, but... don't leave it?

[ unless they can protect themselves, but izetta isn't entirely sure if they can considering how they're reacting right now... ]

Don't leave the island or the aliens eat you. [Yeeeaaaah, she's got nothing she can do against aliens.] Gotcha. Thanks. But...

[A little bit of an awkward laugh here.] What is this island? I was so not here just a few hours ago and now... [She spreads her arms in emphasis.] Toto, we're definitely not in Oregon anymore.

[riflew]

They won't eat you! [ p... robably? ] They'll just try to abduct you and take you to their base.

[ there is an awkward silence because that also sounds terrible. ]

[She only stares at Izetta now, for a little longer after she introduces herself and... Well.]

It's nice to meet you too, but I wish the circumstances were better.

[ you know, without the sudden kidnapping and aliens? ]

Those creatures are new, by the way. They only showed up this month.

[She can't believe she's meeting people after having been abducted, wow.]

Oooookay. So if they're not usually here, what is? Other monsters? You and other people?

We have over fifty people on base, I think? And there's a lot of aliens on the planet since we're on an alien planet. So... technically we're the aliens.

[ surprise max..... ]

[A pause, and she groans.] Of course we're the aliens! Why wouldn't we be! Jesus, it's like we're in a movie...

[She crosses her arms.] I guess it's good there's other people though.

The people here are very kind. I... I'm not sure how I would have reacted being here if it wasn't for that.
