Mission #3: Creature Observation
Of the three objectives handed off to the eclectic group of individuals currently onboard with URSULA, creature observation is perhaps the easiest one to fit around assisting with the other two. The safer shallows around their underwater domicile make an easier first target, but swimming out to where the kelp forests begin might be important once transportation out to the Aurora becomes viable, and even afterward. There's a rich variety of sea life around them. While the focus appears to be on creatures that have started acting erratically or might be a possible danger to the "crew," anything and everything is fair game. After all, they all need to eat, and it's an ocean of possibilities out there!
For each individual group initially picking one or more species to study, other individuals and groups can help lend assistance and add to those observations. Which means:

- Top level and/or comment around in here if you're interested in threading out creature observations!
- It's a good idea to sign up for a mission with at least one other person if you have a specific creature in mind. However...
- Anything being presented on the creatures in the missions thus far is fair game for people to thread out/observe!
- Mix and match with everyone in here to maximize CR and share information ICly.
- If you come across something your character would further investigate during these observations, ask the mods to see what else your character(s) may learn!
- If anything gets graphically violent or grotesque in here, maybe warn for it in subject lines.
- Have fun!
Some potential options for top levels may include...
Option S:You're out in the open waters, with one or more people with you, or perhaps alone because you're just like that. The creature, or the plant, that has caught your interest is in the general vicinity. Will you approach, and what will you do if it turns aggressive on you?
Option E:You've managed to snag whatever your target is, or snagged something else on accident, and are working on bringing it in to the base. So... how's that going for you? Think you'll be getting whatever it is into the labs?
Option A:Or say you've already brought your samples or information into the laboratory. What are you learning after the fact, and what use might it be in moving forward? Or maybe you're cataloguing everything as people come back in? Discussing with the others here may provide valuable insight from an angle you haven't even considered.
