[ So, the thing about the base was while it was bigger than Napstablook's old house, it was also a lot more crowded. They kind of didn't feel comfortable there in a major way. So while going out was big and daunting in its own way, it was also the only way to really get some privacy. The fish didn't seem too interested in a ghost, and they were content to float through them in their diving suit with scuba mask.

It didn't take them long to find the farm. Or Rapplejack either. The robot horse didn't impress them too much - not because it wasn't cool, but because when your cousin idol was a robot, other robots paled in comparison. No, what interested them was the farm. They'd run a farm back home. Snails weren't plants, but livestock was still farming.

Seeing the wild disorder of plants for food really made them want to take it up again. It'd been... something to do. Something they weren't terrible at. ]

I wonder what type of fish would be good to keep...

[ Napstablook was a spooky DJ who didn't have their own turntables here. They did, however, have a robot bandmate. It wasn't the same, but it was easier than asking the other people who made music here to borrow their things.

[ This was kind of awkward, and Mettaton was puzzled by why Blooky was getting all snuggly with him. It was pretty rare - usually he was the one being all affectionate and invading personal space. Quirking a perfectly shaped metal eyebrow, he looked down at the large sheet-like spirit... patting him? ]

[ Wow. Were they being too forward? They probably were. Oh no they made this horribly awkward. Pulling away quickly, they hovered close in mild anxiety, trying to find a way to form what they wanted to say. ]

[ ... No, they couldn't say someone here had access to a music making program of some kind. Mettaton would just go over and get a use out of it and Napstablook would feel like an imposition both to him and to Dave. ]

[ Oh wow, yeah. They'd made a huge mess of this already. why had the opened things this way? It was wrong to assume that Mettaton would be ok with this. ]

[ Mettaton paused, before he giggled a little, trying to control his amusement. He didn't want to embarrass his darling further! ]

[ Well it wasn't disappointing, because nothing about Mettaton was disappointing to Napstablook. He was too cool for that. Yet it did mean that they'd have to impose on someone who had no reason to share their own equipment... imposing on someone you knew was bad enough... ]

[ Super rare, actually, considering Napstablook was the only one left. All their family were dummies and robots. Well, one robot. Because they don't know about the robot dummies. ]

Salmon, perhaps. But that species does not exist here.

[ He straightens up, dusts his hands, and focuses on Napstablook proper. Unlike most people, he doesn't seem to notice that they are actually a ghost.

[ They don't really like the way he's looking at them. It's not that he's especially creepy or intimidating; he's just kind of unwavering. Napstablook didn't like anyone looking at them for too long.

They looked out towards the edge of the farm, as if contemplating leaving. ]
