[ there are many things peter parker has come to accept in his life, things like how he'll never be a normal boy again, or how he'll always do whatever mr. stark tells him to do, like supposedly meeting him to investigate the raft after school. either he fell asleep on the subway en route or something else happened along the way. but, you know, this is fine. totally fine. he's used to it. he just fought like six avengers a few days ago and he still came out of it alive. being stuck in some weird room in some kind of base in the middle of the ocean is nothing compared to getting punched in the face by captain america (who was definitely not pulling his punches).

This is totally not fine, [ is what he thinks, accidentally projecting that thought while pounding on the door again. he already tried the handprint pad; it was obviously made for someone with tentacles instead of an actual hand. which is in itself pretty alarming if a part of him wasn't already numb to strange things like tentacle-people. ] What kind of tentacle person even needs an actual room? Don't they just sleep in the water? Is this some mad science experiment gone wrong? Doctor Octopus?

[ wrong movie, peter. it doesn't sound like anyone is outside. maybe if he yelled or something? ]

[ She still freaks out at the foreign voices in her head sometimes, not exactly used to this whole telepathy thing that happens every now and then, but this is probably the most out-of-place one she's heard yet. It doesn't sound deliberate--did this guy not know that he opened up a channel or what... She also doesn't realize that he's stuck, so there's that, too. ]

Some people living here might actually have tentacles, you know. Careful about using that telepathy, you never know who's gonna hear it.

Some of the crewmembers aren't human. Which is another weird thing, that you should probably know.

[ Loki doesn't really care about octopus discrimination (sorry Korosensei and Fukami) so he will helpfully not call Peter out on that. Loki's voice is young and boyish, but brusque and decidedly lacking in childish softness. ]

The owner of the room will let you out sooner or later. If it's Fukami he'll probably give you the evil eye, but he's harmless... as long as you're not messing around with his stuff.

[ okay hold the fuck up. ]

No one has been quite fatal enough in their idiocy to require that kind of intervention so far. I've been thinking of starting a betting pool on it.

[So that's helpful too. Honestly how has no one died yet? It really is a miracle. But further contact indicates that no, he almost definitely hasn't heard that 'voice' before.]

[His first thought upon hearing the words "tentacle person" is to determine that Korosensei or Fukami may have accidentally locked someone out, somehow. This doesn't seem like a very Korosensei thing or Fukami thing to do. So...it might be someone new? Probably.]
