MISSION #?? REPAIR THAT OBSERVATORY

[A few hours after the explosion settles, Ludger checks with URSULA to be sure it's safe to go outside. Then he suits up and swims around to the broken observatory. The crack looks pretty bad...

This looks like a job for domestic repair!

A telepathic communication broadcasts to all in the radius:

First, the visual image of the broken observatory.
Second, images as he tries to figure out how to fix the cracks: a roll of tape? a bottle of glue labelled "UNDERWATER GLUE"?? (both prospects are accompanied by a deep sense of confusion)
Third, a querying image of some kind of tube that could pump the water out of the observatory? (There are arrows showing the flow of water in this mental image.)

The communication ends.

Ludger will stay outside the observatory, trying to search the plantlife for ... something that would make underwater glue, he guesses.]

[Hello, person! He gives a sort of shake of the head; there wouldn't be underwater glue just in the seaweed, right? However, he points at the seaweed and the fish, and then kind of... makes a motion... like sticky fingers?]

I'm looking for sticky animals and plants.

[So they can be co-opted for his sticking project!]

She nods though, frowning slightly. Sticky animals and plants is... probably unorthodox, but it could. Work?

[She is very carefully not thinking about how you get the sticky parts from the animals, okay.]

[He smiles in gratitude. Thanks, Josie. Fetch quests are really annoying when you have to solo them.

He pulls up his database and starts looking through it. He holds it out so she can see it too, as he flips through all the creatures in the record. The question he intends to ask through this gesture is if she thinks any of these animals or plants would be appropriate for salvaging glue.

[Ludger, she practically deals in words, how can you do this to her?!

No. No. She can do this. Josephine looks very carefully at his database (totally not blankly for a moment there, nope), then at him. Is he... trying to ask her something? Perhaps...]

Which of these creatures we should search for? Or we want to search for? [Oh, she hopes that's what he's trying to ask.] I am, admittedly, not very familiar with them all yet, but... [Ah! That one! She nods, motioning at the database when it stops on Floaters. That looks sticky??] Those? They seem suitable enough for our purposes.

[It's okay, Ludger. Josie will talk a lot for you.]

[Perfect. That's what he needs other party members to do: get all the airtime.

Ludger smiles. That looks great! He gives her a nod of affirmation, and then scans through. Based on the information...

He points towards some rock outcroppings. They can try around there to look?]

[Josephine looks over at where he points, then nods again. Well, it's as good a place to start as any. Seems... even right, from what little she saw in the database.]

Very well. It seems like a good place to start. [And she actually lets herself smile in return now. This isn't so bad!! ...Even if he won't talk to her.] Onward, then. We'd best search there as soon as she can.

[She starts moving toward the outcroppings, but she does, of course, politely wait for him.]

[Thanks, Josie. You're an angel. He swims along, not an expect, but not terrible at it, either. Julius made sure he wouldn't drown or anything if he dropped into water. Sure enough, a number of floaters are attached to the rocks. Ludger frowns, tilting his head. Is there a good way to get at them?

He reaches out, and clasps one in his hands. It's gelatanous. Woah! He tries to pry it off the rock—success!—
