No one did anything to me, they just made me. I'm a clone. The Kyrptonian DNA wouldn't take without a stabilizer or something— [he doesn't know the scientific terms because he's not a giant nerd]—so they had to throw in some human DNA too. That's why I'm half.

[And then as an after thought.] Maxwell Lord didn't have anything to do with it.
