arrival; [action/voice]
[ It happens too fast. The portal opens up around them and Ed's sure they won't make it out alive this time. There are too many sacrifices, too many questions, and when he comes to, he isn't sure where he is. He's been 'helpfully' sorted, but all Ed can see and feel is scrap metal. The container is dark, and when he moves, the scrap makes a lot of noise. ]
What the hell?! Teacher? A-Al?
[ He flails, his own automail arm and leg causing a clatter, the noise echoing.
This isn't Amestris, this isn't where he's supposed to be. The Gate dropped him somewhere. ]
Hey! [ He's half buried, so the amount of noise he's making almost drowns out his voice, until he's finally able to beat on a wall, until he finally falls out of the scrap pile, the container doors opening, and into the corridor. ]
What's going on here? Who did this?! What have you done with my friends?
[ He's fired up, and you might well get a short, screaming teen in your face. He might also not realize that he's broadcasting around, too, his emotions too high to notice anything different about himself or this place. ]

Ah... [defensively putting his hands up before him] My name's Makoto Tachibana. You're--new, aren't you? All of us were brought here without our asking, really... This is the planet Iniidae. We're surrounded by ocean?
[he's slightly intimidated]

[ Ed tries to bring his anger and worry to a simmer, refusing to let it boil over even if he wants to shake this man and make him answer his questions. He'd just been sent through a portal by Father, after all, and all of his friends were waiting for him, no doubt, to fight. ]
Wait. Wait, what, a planet? [ Ed's face grows pale, his eyes widening. ]

[is realising that ed is not really into these kind of news]
You can find more information on your bracelet! [he points at his own, clasped around his left wrist] And you can ask URSULA questions, too. She's the AI that looks after us here.

[ He's trying to grasp all this talk of technology and looks down to his wrist, noticing the bracelet. What is this place he's been sent to? He's not even sure Father could come up with something like this. ]
How long have you been here? Have other people been here? [ There has to be a way out. And if they haven't found it yet, Ed will. ]

[a quick glance at the guy's confused face tells makoto that he got a third question asked (not everyone comes from the same world, he remembers)]
AI. Artificial Intelligence. Like a robot? She's likely listening to us right now. --do you know what a robot is? From what I understand, not all of us come from the same world, or planet.
sorry for the late tag, i was away for irl emergencies, drop if you need to!
[ He remembers getting some info on arriving, before he was unceremoniously dumped in the scrap pile. Edward Elric's life is very complicated. ]
If she's listening, she should help. [ He grumbles. ] No one's gotten out of this place yet, though?
mushes cheeks
[makoto's voice becomes smaller, because he realises that this guy does feel upset about the circumstances.]
She's trying her best, though. We all are. I would like to go home, too.
