that was a rhetorical sup this is just one of those "hey fellow underwater base people, I found x" posts.
this is magnus chase, cousin to the chick who keeps organizing the base.

so anyway I got some seeds from the aurora. (sidenote: why doesn't the base have a real name besides "the base"?)
wheat, corn, some spices, coconut, mint, olives, onions, garlic, jalapenos, rice, blueberries, sweet potatoes, and peas.
the planet is mocking me by giving me peas when I was looking for chickpeas.
so just a psa that the planet hates us. bye.

Wheat? Excellent! We're slowly getting closer to an important goal here. That is, being able to make a pie!

what are you missing for pie? isn't it just, wheat and fruit jammed in a pan?

Most certainly not, my young friend! Pie has plenty of other ingredients: sugar, salt, butter, and, of course, love. Unfortunately, we're still missing milk, which is a critical part of butter.

I'm getting a toothache just thinking about it.
yeah I've noticed we don't seem to have any cows yet. or sea-cows. I guess we need to... find some, or uh. find almonds? almond milk is a thing. so is goat milk, non-dairy creamer, milk in a bag...

Almond milk might not be a bad idea. Sensei has had a hard time finding any milk-producing animals thus far, so a substitute like that may be our only solution. I wonder if Dave has found almonds or soybeans yet.
