base:
[waking up, Fi finds herself definitely not in water. everything about the situation registers on her systems as new, and yet corresponding to the dream that was so fresh in memory. curious. strange. worthy of investigation - instinctively, she knows that to sit and wait idly is not the best course of action. there will be time for rest later.
so she begins to look around, beginning from the second floor, leaving the Sea Equipment room with the drone that had greeted her following behind after they exchange telepathic pleasantries and "Miss Fi" states her intentions. nowhere that anyone else can go is off limits in her investigation. Fi floats, gliding in the air gracefully, taking in locations and what the rooms seem to be purposed for. all for the sake of data. all for the sake of understanding and building a complete map as soon as possible. poking her head into everything, she can't be anything else other than another new arrival.
Fi doesn't greet others first, but she pauses and will remain a respectful distance away from them when she sees them, looking and observing who they are and what they seem like to her. sorry to those that find the looks that are halfway to staring more unsettling than polite. she wants the lay of the land before anything else, including names.]
water:
[of course, the base is not the only place to go. the world outside is far greater in scale and still calls to her to come and see without stopping. a wetsuit is not even a thought for her, and she drifts through the water as she is, a streak of blue that doesn't so much swim as simply travel through the water. but her work is interrupted by those of the aquatic species that come to satisfy their own curiosity, the more bold or friendly sorts coming closer and causing her to halt and acknowledge them.
for them, she drifts a little, lets them come closer or turns so that the edges of her cape fan out, as interested in them as they are her. the concept of some of them being dangerous is there, but she wants to know. wants to see them, record them, take in the data about them if it's allowed. in a way, she looks like she's having fun, as though they're innocently trying to communicate instead of a mutual moment of trying to understand what the other species is about.
there are different types - rabbitrays, some are called, gasopods another, or hoverfish another group, so URSULA's logs will say when she looks at them later. so much to learn. so much to see.]
wildcard.
[Fi is pretty much anywhere and everywhere right now, so if you have a scene in mind you want, go for it! cave exploring, floating in the dreamscape, whatever's wished.]

I would be more concerned if they perceived myself as a threat. Friendliness is in adequate supply here.
no subject
Friendly and rambunctious is the name of the game! So, forgive me for being forward, but you don't appear human... Again curse my curiosity but from what species do you hail?
no subject
[the answer comes easily, without her questioning how it sounds. that's the factual knowledge of who she is. surely Jake wanted that? she's not shy about being of her vessel.]
no subject
A goddess? What goddess? Is she here?
no subject
[the way that word sounds, even through her peace it is clear that she holds Hylia in the highest of regards. her creator, her original master, She.]
She is not present, for I do not sense Her anywhere, and my projections are that She will not appear, as She exists elsewhere, far beyond the reach of most.
no subject
So... you're like an angel then. And you live in a sword?
no subject
[is it living in it when you and the sword are the same?]
no subject
no subject
[fire, electricity, the passage of time, kings of evil. the usual.]
no subject
Well, you're the angelic authority around here, ma'am! But um, if something happens, tell someone, okay? Um, I probably wouldn't be able to help much but other people could.
no subject
[it's accompanied by a nod of her head.]
A question. Why do you think you would not be able to help much?
no subject
Um! I just... don't have a lot of skills to offer?
[Don't you have useless people where you come from, pretty angel woman?]
no subject
[useless is a very specific word. angel woman is too logical to not pursue this inquiry - not for the sake of raising his spirits, but for the truth at the end of it.]
no subject
Oh, um, well...! I do have some skills, yes. I'm handy with a gun. I can do a few robotics things... and I have my hope abilities. They just aren't often useful.
no subject
[without hesitation, she believes they exist. still, they are unusual enough that she wishes to ask for clarification. that Jake is still replying is due to a factor she cannot place, though it might have something to do with him referring to her as an "angel".
while she waits for an answer, she lets the current carry her to drift closer. as honest as Jake is being, that's Fi's default state. honesty, simply because it was.]
no subject
Well... actually, maybe you would know better than I. You see, it's an abstract ability rather than concrete. It works on the power of belief. For example, if I believed in it enough, I could manifest an exact replica of my friend. He'd act and look the same and be the same for all intentions and purposes.
But... I don't know the different things I can do. I understand I can create but... well it's vague! Confounded game powers.
no subject
[a self defining concept. an ability based on something that was so human that only a human could understand it.]
If you believe you can create, then you can. If you believe you can do something different, could you not make the attempt?
no subject
Well... I guess there's no harm in trying it. You really cut to the quick of things. It's refreshing, I promise. No beating around the bush.
no subject
Direct inquiry is the fastest way to gain information.
What is your name?
no subject
[He pauses, because they're underwater and she's a spirit-angel-something so he's not sure if she shakes hands. Is there a ritual they do?]
...Is there a proper way to greet you? Since you're a spirit.
no subject
[and the faintest of smiles is on her lips. the first touch of something resembling an emotion.]
no subject
You know, you kind of remind me of a friend. People think he's not good at expressing himself, but he just does it differently.
