[Meanwhile Jake really is hanging out with some tinkerbulls. Specifically five of them. Despite looking exhausted, he's in high spirits for once and seems to be enjoying the affection from the critters.]

Dirk is my boyfriend! He's a little hard to read but he's a good person. He loves helping people. And he's gotten pretty good at making learning a blast.

[Unlike before where learning involved being beaten up a lot. Look he loves Dirk but he wouldn't have recommended him before now.]

Well, um, we're friends! I think. And... I like sharing it? It's something that makes me happy.

[ She's about to switch this over to voice because she's shaking at this point yikes. ]

W-Well, um, I know we don't know each other well yet! But, golly, if you don't mind the idea, I wouldn't mind it, either?

[ Jake just broke her. She's completely broken. How is she supposed to respond to someone so shameless that they'll openly call someone their friend after one conversation!?

Give her a couple minutes to stop whatever she's doing and hide her face somewhere, which is completely red despite trying to calm herself. In fact when she realizes that nothing will rid the obvious blush she switches over to text, to save her from embarrassing herself even more. ]

Im all ears! Ive been excited to see what you can whip up.

It's a dish called Ravioli de Langoustine. I've made it several times back home.

You're fine with seafood, correct?

Yep! I love seafood. It sounds... hmm... italian?
Im bad at languages.

It's quite a simple dish, so maybe one day I can even teach you how to make it if you enjoy it.

Well if you have zero confidence of course you can't.
