Oh, um. I haven't met Undyne? I meant that the fish there weren't people who used to not be fish. That's all! The rabbitrays seem nice. They're pretty friendly.

Rabbitrays are nice. I've met a few that follow me around... I was thinking I could have them even though they're mostly toxic...

... Which I think means people can't eat them? Or they're hard to eat? But Peepers would be for food...

It sounds like they might not be good for eating... but they're nice, like you said! I've even gotten to play with them a few times by now.

Peepers for eating, rabbitrays to keep them save and give the peepers more company? I think that sounds really nice all around. It's a good idea!

Yeah... I think that... might be a good idea... I think rabbitrays keep predators out, too...? So they could even keep the Peepers safe... a bit.

That's a lot of pressure to put on them, though, so I think we should still build it to mostly keep them out anyway...

Making a safe place for the rabbitrays and the peepers both helps them both out. Then the rabbitrays will be able to keep predators away from the peepers more easily! And... I guess we'll be eating peepers? But not all of them, or probably even that many... I'm not sure how fish farming works.

Well it's important to keep ones back so we can make more... so we'll have to have more than the base uses. So no, not all of them.

[ As much as they worried about the health of the animals they looked after, Napstablook understood that that was what they were - animals. They didn't have a problem with the idea of keeping animals to be eaten. They'd get eaten anyway... this was just kept them from going too far. ]

Besides... it was always fun to offer games on the farm... I used to... run snail races... It was cool.

You farmed snails before? What were those races like? It sounds kind of fun!

[ plus the snails aren't slugs... she doesn't need to imagine anyone eating snail spirits, or racing the slug spirits she'd met in anything. Did spirits even mind that they were spirits of edible things? She's not sure. ]

Yeah, snails. Blook Family Acres... I was the only worker after a while... I wasn't very good at hosting the races, but some people kind of liked them? I think the snails had fun anyway.

If some people liked them, and the snails had fun, then they sound like they were good. Have you seen many snails since you got here?

It's all been fish... or jellyfish... and those big things with the tentacles...

[ Reapers had mandibles, not tentacles. Napstablook, despite not being able to be physically harmed, hadn't wanted to get too close though. ]

Those guys are pretty frightening. I didn't think they had tentacles but I've only seen them in the database. Where did you see one?

My... old neighbour from back home... she came in riding one... it scared the fish away for a while.

Oh, like a mix CD? My mom has old mix tapes my dad made for her a long time ago. I think she'd probably like that? If it's a gift from a friend, it's important.
