[ By now, the rooms have been set up and the residents here have decided where they'd like to room. It's been a long process, but it looks like the rooms are all set up and ready to sleep in. It's not home, but it's become a little more comfortable, at least. It beats sleeping in the kitchen, or anywhere else your character may have decided to sleep for now.

Is your character looking for a place to stay? Or are they just now finishing making themselves at home? Perhaps your character would like to reroom? Perhaps your character isn't all that happy with how things are set up, and decide to do a little home improvement themselves? This is a catch all mingle for anything of the sort! Feel free to tag in however you'd like! ]

[ she is so hype. with everything settled and their two air mattresses set up side by side, rose grabs alisha by the arm and tugs her closer before releasing her and clapping her hands together to grab everyone's attention. sorey and mikleo's mattresses are set up next to each other, too, opposite of theirs, and rose points at them with a satisfied look. ]

Alright, it's decided! Girls sleep on this side of the room, guys sleep on that side. Any objections?

[ she flashes them all a bright, sunny grin before leaning over to murmur something in alisha's ear with an eager voice. ]

Hey, hey. Alisha. Have you ever had a slumber party before?

[ not that she has, herself, but. that's beside the point! ]

[oneandmikleonly]

[the corners of Mikleo's mouth are twitching in amusement; he's obediently plonked cross-legged on his mattress now that they've moved all their belongings in.]

No, but do you want a barrier or something? A curtain at least shouldn't be too difficult.

[he leaves it to Alisha to answer the slumber party question, but technically he's never experienced one either. usually they've settled in a group like this to rest before traveling on, not for fun.]

Hmm...

[ she puts a finger to her chin in Deep Thought. ]

Well, that depends. Question one: Does Sorey snore? And question two: Do you want to join in on the slumber party, Mikleo? Because we're totally having one, and if you join in, Sorey joins in, no questions asked.

[ SAY YES. ]

I guess so. It'll be a novelty if nothing else. He definitely snores and drools, though, so watch out.

[what a supportive friend]

I'm not even sure why I asked. It's not like we haven't camped out before. I could almost always hear him snoring from across the campfire. How the heck have you dealt with him for so long?

[ she's guessing that, after seventeen years, you probably get used to it. ]

-- Wait. I don't snore, too, do I? Please don't tell me I'm just as bad as he is.

I got used to it, so now I guess it's sort of comforting. He also kicks less than when we were kids.

[theory confirmed]

--you don't snore, though, at least not that I ever heard. You might've gotten it from Edna if you had...'maidens need their beauty rest,' and all that.

Story time! Has he ever kicked you off the bed?

[ mikleo's right. edna would have smacked her by now if rose did anything annoying in her sleep. lailah sleep talks sometimes and edna isn't even merciful on her. ]

... And phew. That's a relief.

[imsorey]

[Sorey is already sprawled out on his stomach on his mattress, arms propped up so that he can see everyone from his low vantage point.]

No objections here! Do whatever makes you the most comfortable.

[He's not entirely sure what difference it will make if they're in the same room, just on opposite sides, but if Rose is having fun there's no reason for him to object.]

In that case...

[ rose fluffs up a pillow and tosses it to sorey, allowing him to catch it easily. he's gotta be in on this, too. she's never seen mikleo's hair less than pristine, and it's about time. ]

We'll decide when it's actually time to sleep, but until then? The first rule to a good slumber party is having a good, old fashioned pillow fight!

[ and that means she's wrapping her blanket around her shoulders like a cape, grabbing another pillow, lunging at both him and mikleo, and flopping onto sorey's mattress. ha, ha. she totally has the upper hand here, and she's planning on taking full advantage of sorey and mikleo's sad, sheltered lives. well, that, and rose is about twelve years old sometimes. ]

Gotcha! C'mon, don't you know how to defend yourself?!

[imsorey]

--Don't start a fight without warning if you want us to defend ourselves!

[But for all his protests he takes it in stride, grabbing the pillow and rolling off to the side--and onto the floor, but he uses the roll to propel himself onto his feet and take a swing at Rose with his pillow!!]

[ rose bursts into enthusiastic laughter-- she knew that if anyone would play along, it'd be sorey-- and hurls her own pillow right back at him, rolling over in an attempt to dodge his hit and failing. it only serves to spur her on. chances are mikleo and alisha are both wishing they were anywhere else but here. too bad; she and sorey are already too deep into this. ]

Who said there were any rules, huh?

[ she stands up, too, only to smack sorey in the cheek with the cheap cotton before springing back to hide behind mikleo, peering over his side and snickering. ]

Can't hit me without hitting him!

[ okay, rules or not, even rose knows that's definitely cheating. sorey will find a way around it, though. he always manages to pull off crazy stunts like that. ]

[imsorey]

[Rose's pillow nails him straight in the face and he wobbles back at the hit--but he recovers quickly and moves for a counterattack while she's still on the defensive.]

You need to pick a better shield!

[He has no sympathy for Mikleo getting caught in the crossfire; if it was Alisha it would be a different story, but Mikleo knows he's got to dodge or get hit.

Though, he also trusts Mikleo to be able to dodge it, so there's barely any hesitation before he takes a leap to get some altitude and chucks the pillow at her face.]

[ rose isn't able to dodge the counterattack fast enough, much to her chagrin. mostly because she's genuinely surprised sorey is willing to use mikleo as a human-- okay, no, a seraphim-- shield. wow, what kind of boyfriend best friend is he? ]

Wow. Ice cold, Sorey. If I were Mikleo, I'd dump you on the spot. Not cool.

[ she's very obviously kidding, and at the very least she doesn't throw another pillow at him. mostly because she's running out of pillows, what with them being scattered all over the place. what a pain. ]

[aspearing]

That's a rather sound idea. If Lord Mikleo and Sorey agree to it, then it's decided.

[ She offers a nod in Roses's direction, further signifying that she was fine with it. She's content with anything everyone else is, though it almost feels like she's intruding a little like this, too... Still, she can't help but feel happy to have a chance to room with friends like this, too.

But, it's the second question that has her blinking a little. ]

A... slumber party?

[sparrowfeather]

Wait, have you seriously never heard of a slumber party? Y'know, it's like... a girl thing. That girls do. I dunno, I've never been to one, but you're supposed to sit around and binge on junk food and gossip and stuff. And do... uh... girl things! Not that I'm all that experienced in girl things, but sounds fun, right? You stay up at late as you can, and then you all sleep together!

[ she colors a little. alisha surely won't get the implications of that, but still. ]

I-I mean, next to each other! Sorta like a big bundle of blankets and pillows.

Sorey and Mikleo can come, too, though! I mean, it wouldn't be much of a party if it was just the two of us.

[aspearing]

[ As Rose continues, Alisha can't help but smile, looking a little amused. It sounds rather endearing, but she'd never done anything like this with her knight friends, or any of the maids back at home.

She hasn't really had the chance to be a normal girl. ]

It sounds like you're as new to this as I am. Though, it does sound like we'll have to break tradition of it a little, nor can I say I'm all that fond of some of the things you listed, either...

[sparrowfeather]

Wait, what? You're telling me you don't like binging on junk food and gossiping about other people? Alisha...

[ rose looks a little disappointed before immediately brightening again. ]

Well, what would you want to do, then? We can't just leave your ideas out. Tell me, tell me!

[aspearing]

I... I'm not opposed to it, persay, but...

I suppose I'd be content just spending time together with everyone, too. [ She's never had a chance to do this before, okay... ]

[sparrowfeather]

But sitting around and doing nothing is boring.

[ rose playfully bumps alisha on the shoulder, pouting. ]

... If that's all you really want, though, then... well, we're all here, right?

Um...

[he hasn't brought it up before, but now that they're roommates on top of everything else it's probably a good time]

Just Mikleo is fine, Alisha. If we're going to slumber party together then we don't need to be so formal, right?

[aspearing]

[ All things considering, she wanted to address him respectfully. And then addressing seraphim formally just... became a habit. ]

Has it been strange for you for me to address you as such...? I hadn't wanted to be rude.

[oneandmikleonly]

It's fine since it's you. I mean...you really mean it in a good way. If it feels more natural to you it's fine.

[he sounds almost shy.]

But, we're friends...and we're also in a rather different situation than home. I'd rather we address each other as friends, you know?

[aspearing]

... No, you're right. Since we're friends, I should address you as such.

[ It sounds a little odd saying it without the title at this point, but... She's taking Mikleo's words to heart. ]

Mikleo from now on it is.

[he breathes out a sigh of relief. he hadn't been sure how that was going to go...well, the thing to do is to turn to a lighter topic, right?]

...is this your first official slumber party as well?

[ Well, D.Va's contribution to the rooms includes mining quartz, so she feels like she damn well deserves to get first dibs! Sort of. By the time she's gotten around to choosing, some of the rooms have already been claimed, such as the private rooms, much to her chagrin. She'd been hoping to get one of those so she can ~*game*~ in peace tbh, but sometimes life just isn't fair, and you gotta make do.

So here she is, staring one of the rooms (Room 11) right in the face, deflated air mattress in one hand. ]

Guess this one's gonna be mine.

[ It's not gonna be all hers, though.
