[ Truthfully, he's a little unsure about addressing the people here with an AI who is always lurking. Without any real proof to believe anything that's been directly passed on to him, telepathy is (mostly) out of the question too; it's strange having more than his own thoughts in his head. Besides, this feels too close to home to warrant a repeat of those incidents. Still, a rundown of things seems like the first step in the right direction. He gives a thin smile. ]

Hey, everyone. I know this has probably been said before, but I'm willing to take that chance. [ A short pause, and he's firm as he continues. ] Back home, it was my job to help keep people safe, and I think that's a good place to start here too. I don't know much about what's out there, not yet. But if we work together, I'm confident we can protect each other and anyone else who needs us to be there for 'em. If anyone's got info on that or if you might be interested in doing a little recon around this place, let me know.

Sturdy or not, something can always happen.

[He didn't know very much yet, but it seemed a little paranoid to assume something was out there in the depths waiting to get them.]

I suppose that is a possibility we should consider.

Not at all, at least, not since I arrived. I don't really like the idea of the open ocean so I would rather not go out there.
