Not a diving suit! aka an arrival
[Action]
[The Gate of Truth opened and he saw nothing. Just the void, the many hands of darkness reaching out to grasp him; and, though he couldn't see it, he could feel the eyes of his real body watching him leave. And then he felt it go wrong. Something twist inside the portal, a redirection that was far from planned or wanted.
And now he's here. Wherever here is.
He jerks to life, one in a long line of diving suits, a huge set of plate armour in a loin cloth. In fact, he jerks so viciously that he crashes into the next diving suit. Which crashes into the one right after that, and the one after that and-- It's a horrific domino effect, with the crashing of the diving suits so loud as to echo down the corridor and far beyond.]
Oh-- Oh no.
[Oops? Hopefully they don't land on anyone. Or wake anyone up.
He whirls around, looking for anyone passing by, any clue as to where he is and how the transport through the portal went so wrong. People are counting on him, he can't be the only one not fighting, he needs to get back.]
Hello? Is anyone there? Please! I need some help.

What-- [Korra comes to a stop, taking in the slightly bizarre scene. Then, she cracks a grin.] Well, that explains the sound. Where'd you even find that metal suit anyway?
[She can't imagine it would be easy to swim in, for one.]
no subject
H-Huh? Oh, this is mine, I've had it for a long time.
[That's totally normal NOTHING TO SEE HERE.]
Listen, I don't know where I am. I was-- travelling, and I think I got turned around, do you where this is?
no subject
This is Iniidae. [She pauses.] There's no easy way to say this, but... you're in a different world now. A bunch of us ended up here without meaning to, either.
no subject
He just sort of stares at her for a few moments, because that doesn't make any sense. How can this be a different world?! Does she mean it's something like the weird space inside of Gluttony that Ed had become trapped in, or-- or--]
I don't understand.
[His voice is small, edged with desperation.]
How do I get back?

He isn't exactly sure what he was expecting to find but a bunch of toppled diving suits isn't it. That and some sort of wicked medieval suit of armor. Not exactly the sort of thing he'd go diving in.]
Huh, that's new. [He stares around the room, puzzled. He could have sworn the voice his super hearing had picked up on had come from here.]
Anyone here?
no subject
Except not.
Al is so startled by the sight of someone literally flying that he doesn't move or speak for at least ten long seconds, until he's jolted back into reality by this stranger calling out for him.]
Uh, me!
[None too elegantly, he clanks forwards and raises a hand.]
I'm here, I mean-- Wait, how are you doing that?!
no subject
So you need help getting outta that or something? [Kon...]

[makoto tachibana, stuck under a couple of diving suits (mostly out of surprise)]
Is--someone... help!
no subject
This is literally the worst way this could have gone, now he's trapped someone underneath the diving suits and potentially hurt them. Confusion over where he is momentarily subsumed by worry for someone else's wellbeing, he runs over with a clatter of metal feet and begins pulling the suits up and off as fast as he can.]
I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?
no subject
How did that happen...
[he never expected this happenstance to have ever been something possible. his eyes raise at the voice of concern,]
Ah, I'm not that hurt, mostly surprised--
[and then his expression becomes blank in confusion at what... he's, currently, looking at? who?]
Uhm... [but makoto figures that'd be rude, so he quickly moves the topic to:] Are you... new?

You're lucky Reyna's not here.
[She might get mad about the mess. Or she might want to take the suit of armour? He actually has no idea, their only encounter was brief as fuck. Either way, he starts pulling the suits back up.]
Did you get hurt?
no subject
No, I'm fine.
[He sounds a little dazed, but that's out of confusion.]
I'm sorry, I wasn't expecting to be-- here?
no subject
[And the other half have probably had their memories edited with. He takes a step forward but no more. He just wants to make sure that he can catch the armoured dude if he has to.]
The planet Iniidae doesn't ring any bells?

And. Well. Well that's something.]
...Ah. [No, that's not quite coherent yet.] Yes. What... do you need help with?
[Besides maybe taking off that suit??]
no subject
He turns from where he was trying to pick up one of the diving suits, letting it fall again in his relief at seeing someone else.]
I guess everything would be too vague, huh?
[Start small.]
Where am I?
no subject
She does crack a smile at the answer, although a small one.] Perhaps. But it is a start.
You are, however, on Iniidae and... Well, I'm afraid to say most of it is underwater.
[A beat. Well, she freaked out a little when she first found out, but.] We are currently underwater, in fact.

a young man steps back into the room, looking decidedly annoyed by the ruckus before the expression turns into surprise because um. well. ahhh…
this isn't something you see every day. ]
Err... [ lamely, he raises a hand because what could he say in this situation? god, he misses new york at times.
at his feet, his dog daisy gives a decidedly happy bark at the new face. hello, stranger. ]
no subject
Huh?
Oh! --Hi, are you from here? Do you know where we are?
[Please tell him he's not too far from Central.]
no subject
oh. poor fella. doesn't sound like they're here because they want to be here.
after shooing daisy to stay behind his leg, wanting to keep this conversation kinda professional despite circumstances, roderic looks back up and gives a blunt but honest answer: ] You're under the sea, mister.
Wherever you were before arriving here, this planet sure ain't it.

Al jerks in utter shock, the voice and appearance of this person incredibly bizarre.]
Me?
[He looks over his shoulder just to check.]
Uh, thank you? Why do you think I'm interesting?

Did you trip or something? You sure sent them falling...
no subject
[He looks incredibly guilty, shoulders hunched and head bowed.]
I just wasn't sure where I was, and when I stepped out to find out, I kind of-- well, they all went over and there wasn't much I could do to stop it. I hope I didn't damage any of them.
no subject
[Killua pats the closest suit and shrugs his shoulders.]
So you just got here, then?
