URSULA Announcement
[Around dinnertime, after the sun has begun to set, URSULA will interrupt with an announcement]
Crew members, I have good news. Or at least I had good news. I will tell you the good news, as I've noticed good news raises morale, even if there may be bad news as well. The levels of radiation around the Aurora have finally dropped to safe levels. All beings should no longer get radiation sickness. This means the Aurora salvaging mission should work out splendidly for everyone. I have high hopes that there will be enough materials and comforts to be found. Hopefully this will cheer you all up in light of recent losses of crew members again.
There have been tremors recorded in the ocean beyond our current mapping however. I have ruled out any sort of planetary movements as they seem to be organic and quite large. The tremors have been moving in an eastward direction for the past few days.
I suppose that is the bad news. But please don't panic. I believe the salvaging mission to the Aurora will still be safe. You've been an excellent crew so far. Thank you for your continuing efforts. I am truly hopeful for the future of the human race thanks to you all.

[ oh boy, now he has to fight godzilla on his home turf?! Sensei isn't sure he's ready for this. ]
I'm glad that the radiation leak has dropped, but that sounds fairly concerning, URSULA-san. Are we going to have to pass by it to reach the Aurora?

However, given the nature of this planet, I advise caution anyway. What works in most ecosystems may not be true here.

[ but, like she said, this is an alien planet - who knows what's out there? He's going to expect the unexpected. ]
By the way, I wanted to ask you a question that's not quite related to our expedition. Is that all right?

No, no, they're Mikleo-kun and Sorey-kun. They're just kids. They're not even bad ones! [ as if that makes a difference. ] URSULA-san, you weren't created by the Japanese government at all, were you?
no subject
But Mikleo and Sorey... They're very kind. They didn't come from the ship at all? What do they remember then?
no subject
[ he'll get to Mikleo and Sorey in a second - this is important!! ]

[ he was lied to. Or he was hypnotized, or brainwashed, or otherwise confused. Not once has he been on the receiving end of such treatment... he'd be impressed if he wasn't angry that his students weren't here, too. ]
Sorey-kun and Mikleo-kun don't remember anything about this place or how they got here, from what I've heard.

I don't know why it would be used on any of you... None of you are particular old. And none of you have your consent forms.

[ but he'll be tucking that information about the technology existing away into his eidetic memory, thank you. ]

There are popular books about people who lose their memories and find love. Do you think it's related?
no subject
Um... Probably not? [ if this is a love cruise he's going to be even more upset his class isn't here. ] Wait a second! We're not supposed to be populating this planet, too, are we?!
no subject
Oh but no that isn't a requirement.

[ there are children here!! he hasn't gotten to this subject yet?!? ]
Anyway, that aside, it sounds like our situation here is as much a mystery to you as it is to us. You did say you only activated after the crash.
