[ despite the nightmares and exhaustion that's come with them yuri's been itching for excitement. one can only get so much by going and fighting monsters outside of the base. which, while fun, can get a bit repetitive.

he knows there's one person that he's been itching to get a good spar with someone (by which he means no holding back) so he goes to reach out to them.

and not realizing it the rest of the base as well. look he's exhausted and forgot but the confidence in his voice is there ]

Hey. You. What do you say to a good fight. No holding back. I'll know if you are. And don't tell me you haven't been itching for some excitement.

[ because if he has the other person bound to be too right? .... and other people in the base in this case.

come. accept his challenge even if it wasn't meant for you he'll take on everyone here. ]

[ and now say no more valentine 'cause yuri will be there and ready in a few moments ]

[ She was ready, with her medical bag on the ground close by and her bonesaw holstered at her back. Being six feet tall, blue haired, and dressed in less clothing than most other people in the base, she was a fairly difficult to miss figure. ]

I don't suppose we need introduced.

[ Lucky her she got to that six feet height. being 5'11'' he was unfortunately and barely missed that mark.

but it doesn't mean he's not ready for this. her clothes don't phase him in the least either. ]

Not at all. I say we get right to it.

[ Well, he asked for it. Valentine opened with a swift jumping kick.

Her motions were smooth and she maneuvered her body like someone trained for speed and precision strikes. Though there was power and force behind the motions, it was clear that that wasn't the main focus of her form - if that's the sort of think Yuri was likely to notice. ]

[ a swift kick. what a nice way to start off things.

her form reminds him bit of someone else he knows. except that kicks were the main source of her focus. yuri'll shield himself from the kick rather than slip away. a bold move but let's see what she's made of as he attempt to push her back when the kick makes it's impact. ]

i'm sorry for cheesecake fighting but these are canon moves

[ This ain't her first rodeo. When the attack failed its impact she hooked her leg so that her knee was against him and spun the dead cross attached there. The sharp blades whirled like a blender. This was more to give her time to startle him and get away, which, if allowed, would have her reaching into her cleavage to throw an unattached Dead Cross his way. ]

THIS IS TOTALLY OKAY

[ yuri can tell when the sharp blades start whirling. he'll do what's expected and jump back in order to get away from the blades. his sword is unsheathed but it's not him that blocks but the now floating sheath itself.

damn that was close. time to kick things up a notch. he said he wasn't going to throw shock waves anywhere so he'll get close and twirl his blade towards her. just like those damn dead crosses of hers. ]

[ She gave a thin, sharp crescent of a smile. Her bonesaw was out of his holster in a flash and she caught the attack on its teeth. Had this been an actual medical bonesaw, she was sure the metal would have been cleaved cleanly in two. Luckily her body wasn't the only enhanced weapon that Lab Zero had kitted her out with.

Swiping in a wide arc, she attempted to disarm him. The reach left her open even if she did, but it was a risk she was willing to take. ]
