[ARRIVAL]

[Two girls, one in cloaked dark colours and one dressed in light, soar down on a large bird and land on the base island, near the farm. The blond girl in front dismounts first and turns back to the other.] This is a farm, so there must be people around here of some kind. I didn’t see any buildings from above… but we could look around for something hidden?

[ The cloaked girl follows suit, and dismounts from the bird. She reaches out with her empathy, but doesn’t sense anyone nearby. ] It would have to be hidden well.

[Pink girl smiles.] In that case, we’ll have to look very well to find it! [She gives her bird a pat on the neck.] Fly up and tell us if you see anything, friend! We’ll start the search down here. [The bird takes off; Zelda focuses back on Raven with the same smile.] Are you ready to start looking?

Sure. [ Raven deadpans and floats over to get a better look at the crops. It’s so strange. It’s definitely been tended to recently, but there’s no sign of anyone anywhere. She looks back over her shoulder at Zelda, who is smiling at her. Why does she attract so many friendly people.

Do forgive her if she doesn’t smile back. ] … I’m Raven.

[She is forgiven.] I’m Zelda. It’s very nice to meet you.

[TELEPATHY]

[ While not the most talkative of the duo, Raven decides to test out her new telepathy to see if she can contact anyone on the island, or elsewhere. ] Hello? [ IS THIS THING ON ] My name is Raven. I was under the impression there would be more people here. Guess I was wrong.

[It’s okay, Zelda will have the friendliness for the two of them. She offers warmth and kindness via her thoughts.] My name is Zelda. We both came here in response to a call for help. Can anyone hear us?

[ She wasn't expecting to meet anyone like herself here-- a superhero, if she's getting this right. And one that might be associated with Superman somehow? The guy from the other side of the country fighting crime and taking names? It's a small world, and an even smaller universe, apparently. ]

I'm Raven, but you know that already.

— Actually, sorry, I don't. What city do you live in?

[ She thought she introduced herself, but perhaps she was mistaken. There's a lot going on right now. ]

I'm from the Teen Titans. Jump City. West Coast. You probably haven't heard of us.

[ bunch of dumb teenagers living a giant T shaped tower? nah man ]

I haven't. Sorry.

[ There's genuine apology in it, and curiosity too: she doesn't know of any teams, anyone other than Barry, and Barry's from a whole different universe. ]

Who else is in the Teen Titans?

Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, and Beast Boy. I'm... actually surprised you haven't heard of us. I didn't think we were THAT bad.

[ An attempt at humor on her part. She's not unfamiliar with the concept of the multiverse, so the idea of them being from similar but different universes is not something she's willing to rule out just yet. ]

[ There's a mental apologetic shrug accompanying, ]

Things get weird like that here. I'm probably from way before your team is formed.

Or another dimension altogether.

[ Could happen. She's from an alternate reality in her own universe herself, after all. Being the spawn of an interdimensional demon comes with at least a little knowledge about how all of this works. ]

Either way... it looks like we have our work cut out for us here.

Yeah. Not a lot of evil to fight, but plenty to do.

[ Having been raised a pacifist by a bunch of pacifist monks? ]
