flowers gleam and grow (open mingle)

[ Throughout the month, there will be a lot of searching, salvaging, and planting of flowers! Rapunzel and Hotaru want to make a beautiful flower field or garden on the new island part of the base!

Inside, there will be some planters with flowers potted to be transferred outside once they're considered stroong enough. Outside, wherever it's been cleared for them to plant, expect to see buds and flowers. Do you want to be a Disney princess? Do you want to help out? Are you escorting while seeds and flowers are being collected? Do you want to encourage or admire the flowers? Do you want to make friends with Snap Dragons? There are as many options as there are types of flowers!

Come and frolic! Turn the island into the backdrop of a Disney movie. ]

[ Hotaru has to ask because what if people want their wounds to heal naturally. That's their right.

She holds her hand over Hajime's cut, concentrates, and some glowing magical light later, the scratch is gone. ]

I've never had any pets before... Is there any other way to get animals used to each other?

[ Or are they doomed not to be friends? ]

[ hajime pokes at the spot where the scratch was, and then beams at hotaru. if she wasn't currently holding onto snappy she would give her a hug, but alas. cannot squish the snap dragon. ]

I think it depends on each individual animal? Sometimes if you give them lots and lots of time, they'd get used to each other. [ they might not like each other, but they'll eventually stop attempting murder. ] So it's hard to say for sure what will happen here!

Do you think we should try that? Or... maybe I can get a leash for him while they get used to each other?

[ She's so much more used to dogs having leashes, but if they work for dogs, they can work for cats, too, right? ]

[ hajime is p sure there are cat leashes, although what she is NOT sure of is how that will end in this particular situation. ]

I'm sure we can make one at the base.

[ Hotaru is pretty sure the cat won't like it, but what else can she do? ]

We should make it long and like a harness more than around the neck. I don't want to take away his freedom, but...

Maybe we should take all the cats to obedience school!

[ ... that will end either terribly or. terribly.

But we don't have an obedience school...?

[ But her tone doesn't say she's against it. She's just pointing out none of them are... really qualified to teach cats. ]

[ since lots of people manage to train their pets without actually going to an obedience school? if they can beat reapers they can make a cat not murder an alien. ]
