[ She seems relatively nice, her words genuine, so while Erina's features soften it's only just slightly. ]

Well you already did, but I appreciate and accept your apology. I'm presuming you're here because of the eggs?

[aspearing]

[ Alisha nods easily at the question. Well, this person seemed to have calmed down fairly quickly, at least. She herself is a little grateful for that. ]

Yes. I assume that you're here for the same?

[godstongue]

[ Erina nods, directing her attention to the eggs briefly before returning back to the girl. ]

Just now... I was discussing with them what their names might be. [ It sounds embarrassing leaving her mouth.

Wait. Names. ] Erina Nakiri.

I mean, Erina Nakiri is my name. What is yours?

[aspearing]

I see. [ That's... quite endearing, to say the least. ] Did they tell you?

Erina Nakiri. [ Alisha repeats easily. ] My name is Alisha. Alisha Diphda.

[godstongue]

Of course not, they can't speak. But I made up my mind on what to call them. [ Pointing from left to right one at a time. ] Egg, Chicken, and Ham.

[ She's terrible. She knows. ]

It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Alisha Diphda.

[aspearing]

[ ..... Why those names, though... Does she think that they're edible? ]

... Do they seem appreciative of those names?

[godstongue]

[ She's just trying to be funny... and they're cute. ]

I would hope so, but honestly we won't be sure until they finally hatch. [ A pause. ] ... What if they hate them?

[aspearing]

[ It's not her fault. Alisha's just too serious for her own good. ]

I believe that anyone would be happy to receive a name if they weren't yet given one.

[godstongue]

So then they'll be happy... [ She takes a breath. ]

If they desire to be called something else then I won't be against it, I only wish for them to be healthy.

[ Because they're just babies! But then again maybe she's taking this too seriously. ]

Question, if you don't mind me asking, but have you ever seen these creatures before where you're from?

[aspearing]

[ .... She's a rather kind-hearted person, isn't she? She can't help but smile at her words before she shakes her head. ]

I do admit that I've seen some odd things recently in my own world, but... this isn't one of them. I assume that it's the same for yourself?

[godstongue]

[ Don't say that out loud or she'll scream. ]

Not at all. When I first heard about them I thought that it was a simple mispronunciation, I can't even recall any species that have gone extinct that are similar.

[aspearing]

I'm sure that you'll find other things here that are rather strange. Though, there's others that are fascinating and amazing, as well.

[ Though, that does make her wonder... ]

Did you only recently arrive here?

[godstongue]

Well just being in the kitchen for the majority of the time here I've come across some strange animals, certainly. And considering this is the sea I can only imagine there are more at large we're not even aware of.

[ She nods her head before responding. ]

Well I say that, but I've been here for over a month now... but it was only recently that I left the underwater base.

[aspearing]

Have you? .. I apologize or not greeting you sooner, then. [ If she would've known that she was new, she could've helped her to get used to this place... ]

How does it feel to be outside of the base for the first time?

[godstongue]

No need to apologize. I did not come expecting to be introduced to everyone within a day, especially with how I arrived.

[ She still remembers her first day fondly. ]

It feels... hm. [ She ponders for a moment. ] Refreshing. I've kept myself busy in the kitchen at the underwater base, however... this is a nice change of pace. I haven't done much besides that.

[ Which makes her sound like a loser. And that's because she is. ]

Do you mind me asking what you usually do here?
