[The flapping wings are massive but they take them up, up into the sky. The bird gets unreal air fast and then it soars, allowing an easy glide above what is below. Zelda rides with expert ease, having spent most of her life with this bird.]

[ Sanson is silent as a rider, and easy to work with. When they take off, he has to force himself to not tense up - but after a while the scenery comes into full view, and it is spectacular enough that he has to say something. ]

I have not seen the island like this before. It is quite beautiful.

Isn't it? As exciting as it is to feel solid ground beneath my feet, there's something about soaring like this...

[She's happy and open here, totally at peace with her animal, like it's natural to be like this together. She clearly has no problem taking along a second rider either.]

Yes! They all grow to be about this size.

Do they live alongside your people, like horses?

I don't really understand the comparison. [There are no sky horses]

Horses are creatures in my world that are very much like Loftwings. Though they cannot fly, they are kept as friends to us.

Then yes, it's like that. Every member of my people is born as half of a whole. The Loftwing who we unite with is our destined other half, appointed by the Goddess.

[Awkward question Sanson. Zelda is thoughtful about it.] The Goddess Hylia wants what is best for life and for people. She would sacrifice herself for us. She also understands that war asks for heavy prices.

She is... good, and she blesses us and looks to our futures. She is not always kind.

She pursues justice. In the long arc of fate, that may ask unfair burdens of those chosen to create a safer world.

That is good. Justice is sacred. She is wise to watch over it.

[ He's an executioner, but she doesn't know that. Here, he's just someone else. ]

Your world is blessed to have her.

I hope so. [She believes it. The Demon King is a great evil, and Hylia worked to protect them all. But there was a cost.] We must all do our parts to create a world where justice may be spared unkindness.

I believe that to be a principle which applies to all worlds. Mine, yours, this one too.

[ That's why they're working - to rid it of the injustice that once was. ]

Yes. There has been great damage here. I don't know if we can completely heal its injuries.

But at least, we can do something. Something is better than nothing.

Yes. If we can make that start, then others can build on it, or perhaps the planet can even heal itself.
