Obviously you've got your own style in terms of communication and I don't think the essential style of a work should be tampered with.
Unless it's fuckin' awful, like a Lars von Trier movie, but this is definitely above that.
This is maybe Spy Kids or Sharknado.
In some respects, attempting to restructure it would destroy the essential cohesion of the piece that derives from its arbitrariness.
On the other hand, it might have been more helpful if you put the note about Nancy after the announcement about the Warpers so that information regarding what we might call the plot was grouped together.
It could then be followed by references to the Magister's birthday and your new residence.
Naturally, excising the message to John and putting it in its proper place as a private message would completely destroy the piece. It has to stay.
