i tend to take the stance that songs mean whatever they mean to you
as with most art
b/c the meaning you find probably means more than the meaning thats shoved in there
although theres always something to be found from the creator
it just depends on if you can find it i guess?

[ he has to hook the headphones of his ears, but he crooks a finger to get zelda to come closer, handing her a spare set. typically he reserves musical shenanigans for dirk - or rose, sometimes, since john and jade haven't had too much spare time - but it's not a trial to drop into that with someone else.

he doesn't explain what he's doing so much unless asked, but listens to the recording once more before digging through his various music files to start layering them under zelda's voice to the tune he kind of picked up.

she said she played harp and he has strings in his repertoire to fuck with, but let's just start with that and move into something more electric.

so here this is my favorite remix of it so far enjoy zelda. the process is kind of haphazard and very much instinctual rather than planned, and it sure is. a thing.

Yeah. I have lots of recorded song files, and like - synth shit I just need files like that and to arrange the notes right...a lot of the stuff I have is holdovers from my friends - lots of bass and piano and violin rips - but I got other stuff too. I used to mess around with it a lot more - well, actually, I guess I mess around with it just as much as I did when I was a kid these days?
