The day before the outing, URSULA will address the crew with her plan.
"Recently, I've been tracking the progress of an island, called Floater Island, coming within swimming range. It is currently south of the Aurora. As part of my focus on recovering what I can from previous crews, I plan to visit the old base there. I would like it very much if anyone who wishes to enjoy the island and help me come along. I would advise bringing your bedding and some tools to make staying on the island a little easier.
Anyone staying on base will not have to worry, as I won't be out of range for base management. But I think a trip together as a crew would be relaxing and perhaps ease any negative feelings lingering from my previous mission.
I will return to all functions in two days. Approximately."
She will encourage anyone with questions to come with her, as she promises the island will have many resources, as well as just being fun. She will also ask for help in recovering whatever she can from the previous crew.
The trip to the island will take place in the early morning, with one of URSULA's small drones leading the way to a pleasant beach. Don't worry, no Reapers will party crash.
Instead, the crew gets to enjoy Floater Island in all its glory.
What about the objectives? Well, URSULA wasn't kidding about wanting to do something nice for everyone. Seeing everyone explore and enjoy themselves will be enough.
But for those looking for more, the island is full of resources, especially of the food variety, but also something about look at is the base! URSULA will appreciate any investigations into what might have happened to the crew there and she always encourages efforts to bring extra supplies back to base for the crew. If asked further, she might also suggest that 'fellows' seem to enjoy climbing trees and mountains, and potentially stargazing with those they have a romantic interest in. She has heard this is very popular with romantic couples!
So enjoy Floater Island. Dive in the caves. Eat fruit. Lick a frog! Try to adopt as many birdogs as possible. Recover records from the former crew and make your AI overlord feel emotions she isn't programmed for.
Have fun while the island is in range!

Stork hasn't been on this island a minute and he's already running for his life, convinced he's being hunted by some sort of ferocious, maniacally cackling beast -- he must have missed the part where said beast was a human a moment ago, which would actually have made this situation slightly less alarming. He's under the impression that Kaden is one of the island's residents, and that it's about to eat him. His doom has arrived in record time.
So there's this lanky green person, clad in pots and pans and assorted junk, running away from Kaden and screaming at the top of his lungs. Loud, high-pitched screaming. So much screaming.]
[That's enough to get Kaden's cackling to pause - but only for a second. What's this guy so scared of?! Is there something dangerous coming his way?! For a second, Kaden forgets that this is the first time that he's transformed into his proper beast form in front of so many people.
So for that second (and then some) he's chasing after Stork.
Oops.]
Whoa hey buddy! You doing okay there?! What's got you so panicked?! This place is so nice!
[The screaming stops when Stork realizes that the beast is talking to him -- based on his knowledge of this planet so far, that probably means it's not one of the locals, and that means that it's (probably) not going to eat him. It still takes him a moment to stop running, and he does so by veering off to the side and throwing himself into the sand just to be sure he doesn't get trampled or pounced.]
Ugh... [He lifts his head, shaking sand off, and looks back for his pursuer. This is going to be awkward and strange, isn't it.]
Wow, sooner throwing yourself into sand than Kaden's embrace - he sees how it is!! There's a little snorting noise coming from him though, followed by more laughter and he's just going to come up all friendly like, tail still wagging.
[Stork sits up to better protect himself greet his crewmate properly, though still obviously shaken and staring wide-eyed at the big, excited furry thing.]
Where'd you even come from? [He's just going to rudely answer a question with a question. He just thinks the answer is pretty obvious, and to be fair, the way he's staring might be a clear enough "yes".] I didn't know we had any talking dogs on this crew -- are you a werewolf.
What? No way, I'm not like those guys over in Nohr!
[That's speaking in tongues to this guy, Kaden. That said he's going to back up a little bit before performing yeeeet another backflip, then landing on his two feet in all his half-human, half-foxy glory. He may even strike a little pose.]
[Startled by the showy backflip transformation, the merb scrambles backward and hurriedly gets to his feet, half-expecting to be chased again. He relaxes somewhat when the most the other does is strike a pose.]
...Oh.
[Speaking in tongues aside -- Stork makes a mental note to never go to this Nohr place, if he can help it -- Kaden definitely looks a lot more familiar in this form. That would explain it.]
Yeah, okay, I've seen you... um... like this before.
So... what are you?
[It's blunt, but people keep asking Stork what he is. It's only fair.]
A: Needs more screaming. Have some more screaming.
