A. Telepathy (or action if you'd like - she's in the base)

[ The telepathic message comes from one of your younger crew members. A shy child like Elize dislikes having to broadcast her thoughts to a group of people, but she's concerned. She won't find answers if she keeps the thoughts to herself. ]

Um... has- has anyone seen a girl named Mai? I met her when I woke up on the scary ship. I haven't seen her since...

[ She only heard about one or two people going missing... it hasn't crossed her mind that Mai went missing for possibly the same reasons. She had only spoke with the girl once, but it doesn't take long for Elize to consider someone as a friend. ]

B. Action (On the Base)

[ Alternately, the twelve-year-old can be found in the kitchen, arranging sea shells and rocks in a jar in an attempt to make the base more homey with sea decor. The shells and rocks were found during her mission with Tytree. Although it was initially to stock up for food ingredients especially since a hurricane is coming along, she couldn't help but take a few little decorations with her. Perhaps she can find a way to turn them into gifts somehow. Everyone on the crew is a friend! That's what she thinks at least.

The moment she notices someone might be watching her arranging the sea shell decor, she'll freeze up with wide eyes and look down bashfully. ]

...oh. Hello. [ She'll keep her eyes focused on the sea shells. You didn't startle her at all, nope! ] I found these when I was with Tytree. I thought they would make it more... cozy?

C. Dreamscape (Closed to Mikleo)

[ Elize can be found in the dreamscape, sitting on the ocean floor amongst a pod of reefbacks swimming about. In her lap is a pink and purple doll. A doll and also her best friend, Teepo who can only be with her in her dreams. The reefbacks are keeping her extra company, talking and trying to comfort each other, especially after the death of the one Reefback that tried to aid the crew on their escape from the Reapers. ]

I'm sorry I couldn't save your family. I wish there was more that I could do... [ Following those words is a different voice, coming from Elize's stuffed animal: ] Elly tried her hardest!

[ Ah. Considering what Tytree tended to lug back with him, she thinks shells are probably a lot better than another squirming, longing-for-freedom octopus. Even if it had been cute.

[ The comment brings Elize to lift her chin up, to bring her to actually make eye contact to whoever is speaking with her. Her cheeks glow red and she smiles bashfully. Decorating is new to her and she did good! She feels good about herself. ]

Did you do all of this on your own?

[ She lines up another pink sea shell inside the jar, as one more little touch to add to the decor. ]

I think they'd look pretty as a hair accessory or a necklace too.

A necklace... I think it'd be possible to make one.

[ Probably as a hair accessory, too, but she'd have to think a little harder on that one. ]

Have you made one before?

[ Because Elize sure hasn't and she'd like to if only they had the materials. ]

I've never even seen seashells before I came here. [ Yeah, she'll admit that. ] But I have a friend who could make anything he put his mind to, and I watched him work enough, so...

[ Well. ]

If you find your favorite shell, I'll do my best!

Oh. Does that also mean you've never seen the ocean before you came here?

Well, they can tell each other about all the fun things they can see now that they have their freedom. Luckily she has never been called a monster. But the grownups of Hamil did think that a little girl knowing powerful artes was very unusual. ]

[ This sure reminds her of a lot of things, but she decides not to ask any more about it. ]

Learning about new things is fun! And making new friends... um... I'm still not very comfortable at talking, sometimes.

[ She smiles a bit, bashful and proud. ]

Do you want to be friends? ...Everyone on the base is a friend. [ Right? They're all working together, so that means they're all friends, right... ] But we can be even better friends!

I'd like that. Maybe next time we can go looking for more shells together.

[ SHE'S SO CUTE?? ]

[ She's always happy to have company. Someday, she wants to tell Jude how she's making new friends on her own... ]

We can find matching shells and have matching necklaces.

Then we'll have to start searching soon, to make sure we find enough.

[ She nods, picking up one of the pale pink shells. ]

Do you want any of the ones that I already have? My friend Driselle told me that gifts are a token of friendship.

Ah... but I'm not sure I'd have anything I could give you in return.

[ Not yet, anyway. ]

Oh... that's okay! You don't have to.

[ Presents sure sound nice. Only Jiao and Driselle have given her gifts before. She doesn't mind waiting to get her gift though!

She holds the pale pink shell out. ]

Here. Um... [ Her cheeks turn a little red, as she realizes she hadn't introduced herself yet. ] and, my name is Elize Lutus. I'm happy that we can become better friends.

Elize... that's a very pretty name. [ Sort of like Elaine... ]

My name is Cardia. [ And she'll take that shell, smiling. ] Thank you very much for the gift.
