A. Telepathy (or action if you'd like - she's in the base)

[ The telepathic message comes from one of your younger crew members. A shy child like Elize dislikes having to broadcast her thoughts to a group of people, but she's concerned. She won't find answers if she keeps the thoughts to herself. ]

Um... has- has anyone seen a girl named Mai? I met her when I woke up on the scary ship. I haven't seen her since...

[ She only heard about one or two people going missing... it hasn't crossed her mind that Mai went missing for possibly the same reasons. She had only spoke with the girl once, but it doesn't take long for Elize to consider someone as a friend. ]

B. Action (On the Base)

[ Alternately, the twelve-year-old can be found in the kitchen, arranging sea shells and rocks in a jar in an attempt to make the base more homey with sea decor. The shells and rocks were found during her mission with Tytree. Although it was initially to stock up for food ingredients especially since a hurricane is coming along, she couldn't help but take a few little decorations with her. Perhaps she can find a way to turn them into gifts somehow. Everyone on the crew is a friend! That's what she thinks at least.

The moment she notices someone might be watching her arranging the sea shell decor, she'll freeze up with wide eyes and look down bashfully. ]

...oh. Hello. [ She'll keep her eyes focused on the sea shells. You didn't startle her at all, nope! ] I found these when I was with Tytree. I thought they would make it more... cozy?

C. Dreamscape (Closed to Mikleo)

[ Elize can be found in the dreamscape, sitting on the ocean floor amongst a pod of reefbacks swimming about. In her lap is a pink and purple doll. A doll and also her best friend, Teepo who can only be with her in her dreams. The reefbacks are keeping her extra company, talking and trying to comfort each other, especially after the death of the one Reefback that tried to aid the crew on their escape from the Reapers. ]

I'm sorry I couldn't save your family. I wish there was more that I could do... [ Following those words is a different voice, coming from Elize's stuffed animal: ] Elly tried her hardest!

[ She nods, pretty proud that she'd found the shells together with Tytree. ]

Tytree is my new Big Bro!

[ "Kinda nice" is good enough praise for her. She looks up, offering the tiniest of smiles to him. ]

[ Mao, being used to his party pretending each other is their sibling, takes this pretty casually. ]

He is, huh? He's mine, too! [ A pause. ] Does that make you my new sister ...?

[princessia]

[ Elize has always desired to have a family, so she doesn't think much of it as pretend. She tries to think of it as how being with a "real family" might be. And she might have another brother. Exciting. ]

Huh? I guess...? Is that okay with you?

[ditties]

[ Well, Mao's "real family" situation is a little odd as well. And as much as he might fight with Tytree, he appreciates having him as a Big Bro. And of course having their other friends/fake family as well.

Still, he can't bring himself not to be light-hearted and obnoxious, even now. ]

Of course it is! But you know what the younger sibling's job is in this family, right?

[ There's no way this can't end in Mao being a pain in Tytree's ass. ]

[princessia]

No... I didn't know the younger sibling has a job.

[ She's still trying to learn the concept of family and as far as she knows, the younger sibling usually looks up to the older siblings as role models... ]

[ditties]

[ Well, not in this family, Elize. ]

I dunno about other families, but in this one, it's your job as the younger sibling to keep the older one on his toes! And we do that by telling him lots of fake stories to see if he falls for 'em! Got it?

[ He says this very confidently, with a wide smile on his face. Tooootally believable. ]

[princessia]

[ Sorry, Mao. Elize is a good girl with a huge dislike for liars. She gives him a stare of disbelief. ]

...But that's lying.

[ditties]

[ Oh no ... He has to try to spin this in a better way then. ]

Yeah, but it's to help him! He wants us to do it!

[ Man is she going to be mad to know he's even lying right now. ]

[princessia]

[ She turns her head away, sticking her nose up. Maybe she'll just go back to adjusting her sea shells, alright... ]

I don't believe you.

[ditties]

[ Woooow, Elize. She sure isn't putting up with Mao's shit. Except Mao's slightly offended here now. ]

Hey, why not! I've known him longer than you!

[ SO HE'D KNOW TYTREE BEST. And while he does know Tytree pretty well, he's applying his knowledge in the opposite way he should be. But still! ]

[princessia]

[ Hmph. La la la, she's going to keep busy. She begins preparing an empty jar to fill with more sea shells, like this is more interesting to do than paying attention to Mao. ]

For someone who has known him longer, you don't know him well enough. He doesn't need big, dumb lies to keep him on his toes.

[ Despite knowing him for a short amount of time, she tends to grow attached to people rather quickly and will speak very highly of Tytree. Also, she just hates liars. ]

[ditties]

[ Wow, gosh ... Elize is a jerk. :( (Totally not Mao here.) ]

Hey, they're not "big, dumb lies"! They're helpful lies!

[ Mao, is that really any different. ]

[princessia]

[ If only she could handle this in a more mature manner...! Especially when Elize wants to grow up so soon. But no, she's being a brat. They're both BRATS. ]

I can be helpful enough without the lying part.

[ditties]

[ The brats are not handling this well at all. ]

[princessia]

[ Elize keeps herself sounding calm and smug. Trying to make herself sound so much better than Mao! ]

By being an honest person. Isn't the answer obvious?

[ditties]

Nope! Just being honest doesn't mean you can help him!

[ Maybe her smugness is getting to him a little, but he knows he's better than her and knows Tytree better!! Huff! ]

[princessia]

And you think lying is more helpful? That's so childish.

[ Mao is being childish. And Elize totally isn't. Not at all. ]

[ditties]

[ WHOA WHOA HOLD UP HERE. THAT'S UNCALLED FOR. ]

What'd you say?! It is not! Adults lie the most!

[ ....... That doesn't make it okay, Mao. But there's logic somewhere in that. Mostly he just doesn't like being called childish, holy crap, Elize. You brought out the big guns and you didn't even know it. ]

[princessia]

[ Yeah, he heard her right and he asked for it. Mao doesn't look that much older than her. He's a kid. And she hasn't had very good experience around grown liars, like Alvin.

She keeps her tone composed and haughty. ]

It's childish. Immature adults tell rotten, dumb lies.

[ditties]

Do not! They can be helpful, too! And you know it!

[ Mao's used tons of lies to get them through tough situations before, okay. He isn't using them in a helpful way now, but whatever. Her attitude is just making this worse! ]

[princessia]

[ Just walk away, Mao. She's being a sassy brat and can't stop... ]

I know that they can be nothing but trouble. I bet you cause all sorts of trouble for Tytree! Some brother you are.
