A. Telepathy (or action if you'd like - she's in the base)

[ The telepathic message comes from one of your younger crew members. A shy child like Elize dislikes having to broadcast her thoughts to a group of people, but she's concerned. She won't find answers if she keeps the thoughts to herself. ]

Um... has- has anyone seen a girl named Mai? I met her when I woke up on the scary ship. I haven't seen her since...

[ She only heard about one or two people going missing... it hasn't crossed her mind that Mai went missing for possibly the same reasons. She had only spoke with the girl once, but it doesn't take long for Elize to consider someone as a friend. ]

B. Action (On the Base)

[ Alternately, the twelve-year-old can be found in the kitchen, arranging sea shells and rocks in a jar in an attempt to make the base more homey with sea decor. The shells and rocks were found during her mission with Tytree. Although it was initially to stock up for food ingredients especially since a hurricane is coming along, she couldn't help but take a few little decorations with her. Perhaps she can find a way to turn them into gifts somehow. Everyone on the crew is a friend! That's what she thinks at least.

The moment she notices someone might be watching her arranging the sea shell decor, she'll freeze up with wide eyes and look down bashfully. ]

...oh. Hello. [ She'll keep her eyes focused on the sea shells. You didn't startle her at all, nope! ] I found these when I was with Tytree. I thought they would make it more... cozy?

C. Dreamscape (Closed to Mikleo)

[ Elize can be found in the dreamscape, sitting on the ocean floor amongst a pod of reefbacks swimming about. In her lap is a pink and purple doll. A doll and also her best friend, Teepo who can only be with her in her dreams. The reefbacks are keeping her extra company, talking and trying to comfort each other, especially after the death of the one Reefback that tried to aid the crew on their escape from the Reapers. ]

I'm sorry I couldn't save your family. I wish there was more that I could do... [ Following those words is a different voice, coming from Elize's stuffed animal: ] Elly tried her hardest!

[Fukami knows they're distracting... Sorry, Elize. He knows she probably has never seen a human with a buncha tentacles attached, because that's the case with almost everyone here...

Except Korosensei. But he's special and weird himself and he reacted to Fukami first time he saw him, too.]

Yes. We do have some sand, shall I bring a bit?

[ Living on a base with several different races, she'll get used to it eventually. She's afraid to ask about the tentacles until she gets to know him better. ]

Sure, if it's not too much trouble...

[Fukami nods, stepping out of the room... sure enough, soon he returns with one of his gloved hands curled into a fist, which he extends to her.]

Here we are. [A little bit of dry, silky sand... Sand is useful, it's always good to keep some around!]

[ She smiles as a silent thank you. Once she takes the sand in her hands, she carefully pours it over the jar and adjusts some of the sea shells. ]

There. What do you think now?

[Fukami nods his approval, dusting off his glove.]

It looks good. Where are you going to put it?

Um... here?

[ She takes the jar, placing it on top of the circular module and nudging it until she has it centered enough. Kind of like where you'd place a vase of flowers, except this is a jar of shells. ]

I was thinking of making some more...

[ There are some extra shells and stones laying about, ones that she couldn't fit in a single jar. ]

One or two may look nice if they were hung.

[He gestures to the ceiling with a flick of one of his tentacles.]

...What do you think?

[ She lifts her chin up to look at the ceiling, thoughtful. Then she nods, with a smile. ]

That's a great idea! [ A pause. She's not sure how to get them up there though. ] Do we have a cord or something to hang them up?

I believe we have some rope. We can wrap it around the bottle and then pin it to the ceiling...

I imagine a screw of some kind will work fine. [And his tentacles have some good reach (not that the ceiling is too high anyway).]

[ It might be high for her, unless she climbs up on top of something. She's going to have to request his assistance again... ]

Oh, okay!

[ She stands, then pauses when she realizes she doesn't know where to look. ]

Um... do you know where the rope is kept?

[These many tentacles are here to help... plus arms. And the rest of him.]

It should be in the lockers.

I believe much of our miscellaneous supplies are kept there.

I see. Alright, I'll be right back.

[ Because she doesn't want him to do all the item fetching. Despite his many arms...

She walks briskly out of the kitchen, heading for the lockers. ]

[Well... he'll go and prepare some tea, actually, since that's what he came to the kitchen for in the first place.

He hasn't the slightest whether or not she likes it, but he'll prepare her a cup for when she returns as well.]

[ And she's back, carrying a piece of rope in her hands with the end dragging across the floor. She has managed to carry along a few extra screws with her as well. ]

These are okay, right?

[ Just making sure! ]

Yes. It looks good.

[Let him just set this cup of tea down and slide it her way... there are also snacks. Little biscuits with fruit on them, fruit collected from Floater Island. It's nice to have sweets.]

Before we continue, would you like this?

Huh? Oh!

[ Elize's eyes are lighting up. It might just be little biscuits with fruit on them, but this little girl loves to eat. ]

It looks delicious! [ A pause, her cheeks reddening once she realizes how eager she sounds. ] Um... y-yes. Did you prepare these? Thank you.

You're welcome.

[It's good to see kids with a healthy appetite. Fukami's oftentimes impassive face seems to lighten with approval.] Please, go ahead.

I enjoy sweets myself, and it is easier to prepare them now than before.

[Thank you Floater Island.]

[ Elize sets aside the tools for now, taking a seat before the plate of snacks and tea. This somewhat reminds her of some days she'd spend having tea with Driselle back at the manor.

She picks up a biscuit, careful not to get any fruit smeared on her. ]

...Do you know how to prepare all kinds of snacks?

More-or-less, yes.

[He nods, sipping from his tea. He will take a snack after he's had a few sips, relaxing as he drinks. Nothing like a cup of tea.]

Why do you ask? [ANY REQUESTS??]

Oh... I was just curious...

[ She's far too shy to make a request, even though it's tempting! Perhaps when she gets to know him better. At least now she knows someone else who can prepare some food.

She bites down on the biscuit, taking a moment to quietly chew and savor it. A smile spreads across her face. ]

Yummy!

Do you have any favourite snacks?

[His expression softens (as much as Fukami's expression ever softens) at the reaction and he nods quietly in approval.

He's glad she likes it!!]

A favourite? Um... well... I don't know if I can pick one. I like all sorts of snacks.

[ And she loves eating. She eats the rest of the biscuit, chewing on it as she thinks back to the times she would have tea parties while staying at the Sharil Manor. ]

At the manor, sometimes Driselle and I would have sleepovers! We'd have yummy snacks like cookies, cupcakes, tart, biscuits, and tea...
