INTO THE VOID
[A STUBBORN AND FOOLHARDY GROUP OF EXPLORERS FALL ASLEEP AND SWIM INTO A DEEP DARK OCEAN ABYSS
Thereβs no punchline thatβs actually what theyβre doing. ]
((you can go ahead and join in even if you didn't sign up for the mission in the planning post! read here for info and assume you got a brief background rundown. thereβs toplevels for different bits of the trip; go ahead and poke around wherever you want to be and jump each other freely!
if your character would ask a question or perform a particular important action at some point that isn't covered yet, please check with the mods directly at that comment for results!))

If it gets aggressive...unless you're able to purify that affect, I would say the best thing to do would be to leave the scene. We can't hurt it here, and we can't be hurt by it, at least not physically. So all it's going to be is an upsetting experience.

[ because eve is going to be realistic here: there is no way she can purify it and she has a feeling she won't be doing that anytime soon. but, all the same, she wants to help the others somehow.
the idea of being hurt here, even if it wasn't physical, made her feel ill and she has to swallow that up and try to help out in anyway she can. ] I⦠I can't do much but maybe I can hang back and be ready to help guide the others out if we need to go? I've been doing my best to keep track of our directions so⦠There's that.

Guiding would actually be very helpful, if you have a better head for the way back than I do. I try to rely on the currents for directions underwater, but they've been so odd down here that it's been a bit...confusing. And I don't think any of us want to just stay down in the dark and wait to wake.

I've been keeping track of our path with the currents too-! They're strange here but I-I'll make sure we get back to safety should anything happen. [ she would knock on wood if she had an idea what exactly is wood down here or not.
she falls a bit quiet for a bit before she speaks up again. ] β¦ I, um, hope we don't have to fight if it can be avoided. No one deserves to get hurt.

...I'd be very happy if we don't have to fight, either. We've been trying to negotiate with the Dragon and Reapers since they showed up, but it hasn't really yielded results, you know? It doesn't help that the Reapers respect displays of physical strength more than they do conversation.

Hopefully maybe this will be the occasion where luck is on our side? It never hurts to be hopeful.
Well- I should let you talk to the others now. I'd hate to take up your time! It was a pleasure meeting you. [ despite looking a little scared, she did her best to smile at him because it was a pleasure meeting new faces, helping them in any form she can. ]
