So, you know, a lot's been happening lately, and I don't know about you guys, but I've been thinking this place is missing something.

[ she puts a finger to her lips and lets a few seconds tick by to keep everyone in Suspense, as if this is some sort of huge and monumental idea. which it is. ]

Can someone tell me why there's no place a girl can get a mug of beer around here? Y'know, a bar? Doesn't anyone else miss alcohol? I know, I know, drink responsibly and all that, but... seriously, nothing? Plus, I'm sure at least one of us knows how to make a decent cocktail.

[ she shakes her head with an exasperated sigh. ]

There has to be some good stuff around here somewhere. I'm not picky. You think URSULA keeps a hidden stash?

[ URSULA, she hopes you can hear her. also, rose knows that the answer is an extremely probable no, but what's the harm in tossing the (still, very low, close to nonexistent low) possibility out there. ]

Everything is just... way too tense. Some of you could probably stand to lighten up a little. So since no one else has done it, I'm proposing the idea of a serious addition to the base.

well, i don't see why not, but are you sure you'd want to go out of your way to hang around, though? i mean, we can handle it ourselves just fine, i promise, but nobody would complain about having a scientist around, either, so it's totally up to you.

and nah, they're nothing like angels, don't boost their ego. the closest comparison i can make is that they're basically elemental spirits? they don't live like us humans. i've met seraphim who are thousands of years old, but you'd never know just by looking at them. plus, they're invisible to like everyone but me and two others thanks to this thing called resonance, but i heard some guy named dirk is working on these goggles that'll let anyone interact with them, which is really neat. i'll need to thank him or something.

but anyway, i was super freaked out before i realized that they're not that different. and also not ghosts. important distinction to make, since ghosts are not cool at all.

bottom line, i'm sure mikleo will figure something out! he's pretty clever.
