OPEN MINGLE: September 25-30
[Although the month is drawing to a close, there's still plenty to do--such as clearing out the last few rabites, working on constructing portions of the new and improved base, sharing various information gleaned from the month's efforts, and make sure to have some downtime in between all of that. Getting a sun tan before fall fully sets in is important too!]

[He looked up from the corner he had more or less taken over, which happened to be the opposite side of where the hand resided. He had been reading a book with a few more beside him.]
Oh? That? That's a good question.... I'm not entirely sure. But it used to be attached to my arm! I know who it belongs to, but I don't really know them.

[She sighs and walks over to sit by him. She shifts the stack of clothing to her lap and looks at him.]
Do you feel like elaborating more, or would I be better off not knowing?

[And his expression was truly troubled and his tone soft and slightly worried. It made him feel anxious to think about it too much. Of course you would think he would have thrown it away first chance he got if it bothered him like this, yet he couldn't. It was like he had to keep it as a reminder, a reminder of something he couldn't even remember doing. A reminder of a truth.]
It's also complicated. But, I don't know the details so, there's not much point in explaining.

If you insist. Anyway, I made some clothes for you.
[She picks up and hands the pile out to Nagito. There's a few plain shirts in there, although all have the symbol on his shirt on the front, or miniaturized somewhere. Two pairs of black pants, jeans... she really went all out. The three most notable items are two hoodies and well... this outfit. Paradox Space has done it again. Better stay away from any Keyblades while wearing this. The two hoodies are almost identical, save for the color schemes and symbols. One is Orange with a yellow sun on the front while the other is yellow with white wings on the front]
That one is the symbol for a Hero of Light.
[She points to the sun. She thinks that Nagito would probably be a Hero of Light if he played the game, but is not certain what class.
He'd probably be a Bard of Light. Hinata would have an aneurysm. Nobody needs to see Komaeda in a codpiece.]This one here is for a Hero of Hope.
[She points to the wings. Kanaya no, don't encourage him.]

[And he was truly alight, clasping his hands, well hand, he hadn't gotten used to missing one yet, but if he still had two hands they would have clapped together.]
Though I feel trash such as myself is hardly worthy enough to wear such a symbol upon their person I will still treasure it with all my heart and keep it safe.
[And he would definitely wear the rest, because it was difficult wearing one outfit, especially one outfit for two months. Well, he had given his parka to Mikan for a while, but that just left him with even less options.]

I am glad that you like my gifts so much and appreciate that you will keep them safe, but don't take it personally if anything tears. It is more or less an inevitability here.
[She's just going to cut off any potential guilt at the bud there. With his luck, the place they are, and fellow base residents, it is only a matter of time.]
...I still remain unconvinced that you are trash. I doubt that there is much that will be able to change my opinion.
[She hopes that she is not crossing any boundaries, but the extremely low self esteem is worrying and the urge to meddle is strong. You can never be worse then Gamzee, Eridan, and a few others. She's seen and done some stuff.]

That might be true, but I don't think I should be doing too many things that would risk clothing too much. But I will definitely keep it in mind that if anything happens it's a given. Though, my luck generally makes it so things are fine.

When someone isn't useful to society they're nothing but garbage. Someone such as myself who's only skill is being lucky... is definitely worthless in the eyes of society.

Besides, what may be considered worthless in one society may be considered useful in another. Although human society is much more lenient with the definition of and consequences for being worthless, I think that you probably would have been found useful for your Luck by troll society.
[Kanaya furrows her brow at that train of thought. She thinks the Condesce would have either tried to use his luck as a weapon or cull him if proving troublesome.]
Probably not for the right reasons, but reasons nonetheless.

[And he frequently used that chance to his advantage whenever he could. He had at least learned that much. Though, it was always a risk, since he could only gauge his own well being and not others.]
Perhaps, though my luck is of a level that allowed me to attend Hope's Peak Academy, which I suppose is an accomplishment in and of itself, but, it's also only luck and not a true Talent. If those of Hope's Peak are the elite, than I, simply there through lottery, am just slightly in between.
[Not an elite, but not talentless. It was a horrible place to be.]
I wonder, it's a skill that only ever benefits me.
[And even then he felt he paid a lot in consequences.]
