[Although the month is drawing to a close, there's still plenty to do--such as clearing out the last few rabites, working on constructing portions of the new and improved base, sharing various information gleaned from the month's efforts, and make sure to have some downtime in between all of that. Getting a sun tan before fall fully sets in is important too!]

[He is appeased, and settles back down, which involves leaning on Mikleo again. This is for Mikleo's benefit so that they can share the book between them and not because Sorey will slowly fall sideways if he is not propped up by someone.]

Good! I'm glad to see that it's working out between them. I was worried for a little while there, but it seems like they've made it past any of the obstacles that would keep them from being together.

Well, that's how these stories work, don't they? It wouldn't be much of a read if it were never in any doubt that they might not come together.

Yeah...it would be nice if they could just be happy from the start, though.

Then you'd be complaining about the lack of dramatic tension.

No way! Just because they're in love doesn't mean there wouldn't be any dramatic tension. It just wouldn't be centered completely on their love lives.

[But if Mikleo is saying he's drunk then it must be true?? Maybe lightheaded does mean drunk. You can see the wheels spinning in his head.]

[reclaims the romance novel long enough to bop him gently on the head with it]

I'll remember! I don't plan on making it a frequent experience. There's a limited supply, and like I said, I can't tell the difference anyway. I just wanted to keep Rose company.

It's nice to see you loosened up a bit, though.
