OPEN MINGLE: September 25-30

[Although the month is drawing to a close, there's still plenty to do--such as clearing out the last few rabites, working on constructing portions of the new and improved base, sharing various information gleaned from the month's efforts, and make sure to have some downtime in between all of that. Getting a sun tan before fall fully sets in is important too!]

It sure is. It's a floating island that's held up by these gigantic floaters! They're the little pink fish that just sort of float around places.

[aspearing]

[ She can't help but giggle at that. ]

The very idea of that is quite peculiar. I'll have to see it for myself.

[imsorey]

[nodding enthusiastically--maybe too enthusiastically, but he likes the island, and he can't wait to see the look on her face when she catches sight of the giant floaters for the first time.]

It's better to see it in person anyways. The island is fun to explore even without that. They set up an observatory on the island too, and it lets you get a better look at the surrounding ocean.

[aspearing]

[ Sorey looks so happy when he talks about it. Alisha can't help but ask: ]

Would you like to join me when I go, Sorey?

[imsorey]

[he's quick to agree; they didn't get much opportunity to explore Glenwood together, and an island isn't quite the same, but it's still something.]

Sure, I'd love to. I can show you where everything is--or at least what I know is there. It's been a while since I visited anyways, so I want to make sure nothing was damaged from the hurricane.

[aspearing]

Then, I'll be relying on you as a guide.

[ She's smiling, rather excited at the prospect. Though, admittedly, it's also because she'd like to spend more time with her friends here in general. ]

It would be my pleasure. I promise not to get us lost!

[aspearing]
