she still sounds soft, naturally so, but there's no denying how ecstatic she sounds when she hears from a familiar voice again. ]

[she still doesn't quite know how to handle being properly thanked, so reminding Eve of how much it was also her own work seems to do.]

What exactly have you been baking?

[that question is nothing but curiosity - her transmission hadn't clarified.]

[ eve is insistent in her own gentle way, sincere and certain. ] With your help- Which I would love again with what I'm making.

Where I'm from, there's a festival we celebrate with something we bake called mooncakes. The festival has passed but it didn't seem right to let it go by without letting some of the others enjoy this pastries. [ hence her being elbow deep in baking since ada had allowed her out. ]

[mooncakes. what a name. it didn't tell her much about them, but she supposes there's a very easy way to find out.]

I can offer what assistance I am capable of, but I cannot engage in taste testing, as I do not need to eat to function.

[ oh! is fi allergic to something the mooncakes are made of? or something else entirely considering her appearance when they first met last month?

hmm. there'll be one way to find out. plus, it gives them a chance to meet again- this time in the real world and in much better conditions so! ] Not a problem at all. I'm in the kitchen right now. It's not hard to miss me so feel free to drop by when you're ready.

[true to word, Fi comes along in about fifteen minutes, floating through the kitchen door to come see where Eve is baking. she's close before she speaks, and she looks about the same as she did in the dreamscape, just as blue.]

Fi! [ eve definitely looks different from their time in the dreamscape.

for one thing, she's much taller than in the dreamscape and more athletic in terms of her built. but her smile is just as sunny and her tone, though soft and a little hoarse, just as happy. ] You came in time- I was just planning to make the patterns. Would you like to help design it?

[her aura feels the same, and so any discrepancies are noted but thought of as irrelevant. as long as the soul is that of Eveline, then she is the same.]

What sort of designs would you require?

Considering they're made for the Mid-Autumn Festival back home, something with the theme of the moon or flowers would be ideal. [ eve shows the few designs that she had made for the cakes, in order to give fi an idea of what they usually look like. ]

But feel free to do whatever you want for these too. This is meant for everyone in order to celebrate the coming of the harvest and I know the symbols for that varies from place to place. [ or in their case- universe to universe. ]
