[ Anyway so one day a bunch of nerds went camping and it went exactly like this the end.

To be more precise, close to the lake on Floater Island a nice lil camping spot has been made! There are a couple of tents next to a campfire. The campfire even have logs arranged around them for that authentic camping experience? You sit on the logs, obviously.

A large variety of snacks have been brought over! There are hot dogs that can be roasted over the fire (made out of... some... animal idk use your imagination). Most importantly, they have marshmallows and chocolate to make s'mores! Because that is the most important part of camping. Clearly.

Mingle with other crew members! Wander around Floater Island and pet birdogs! Tell scary stories by the campfire! Fall into a ditch somewhere and have to be carried back by your crush like a stereotypical shoujo heroine! etc etc have fun ]

[Came Time Fun]

[Komaeda was full of quiet smiles. It was fun to go on a trip with people, to an interesting island, and play around. It was almost like the fun parts of the Island School Trip! However, he really didn't know much about camping. In the end he watched everyone else do things for the most part keeping off to the side. At some point he even tries to make a s'more, but it becomes a huge inedible mess sadly.

However, wasn't there something missing?]

People play games during these sorts of things, right? What kind of games should we play? I think it would be nice to do something as a group.

Is it alright to leave the group like this?

[He remembered her talking about wanting to come here before, but then, well events came in the way. Though... he wasn't quite sure about trekking around too much.]

I'm not sure how far we should go.

[He's not engaging all that much, but he was around. Accidents were probably going to be a given, but hopefully nothing too bad would happen. He's in a good mood as well, he almost seems relaxed, a genuine relaxed as apposed to the fake casualness he had to him normally.]

I'm positive that there is nothing on this island that we can't handle. The only thing we even remotely need to worry about are cave crawlers. I've gotten plenty of practice dealing with them on the Aurora though, so it's once again nothing we can't handle.

[She has her chainsaw in its lipstick form, so as to not frighten away the birdogs.]

We can remain on the beach if you wish. The birdogs mostly congregate around there anyway. If you still wish to attempt gardening, there are still plenty of plants along the beach as well.

I think keeping to places easily accessible would be best. It's not that I'm particularly worried about the the creatures living her, but that my stamina is only so much.

[He was good at pretending it wasn't an issue most the time, but that was because he carefully planned the things he was doing each day and how much of it he did.]

Of course. This is merely an short walk, not an expedition.

[Kanaya your're gonna jinx it at this point. The familiar noises of birdogs start to get louder.]

Although I am open to more expeditions in the future. The ones I have participated in so far have been both informative and interesting. We still have spots on the map we recovered that we have not explored yet if I remember correctly.

We do! And the new submarine should be helpful in getting to them.

There are so many mysteries on this world, it's rather exiting.

[It wouldn't be hard to end up lost, hopefully they wouldn't, but who knows? Luck was a two edged sword.]

If our equipment is sufficient enough, I admit that I have wondered if there are any arctic areas on the planet. December is next month, and a trip to the arctic feels somewhat appropriate, wouldn't you say?

[Maybe they'll find alien santa or something.]

That would be rather interesting. There might even be ice floats! Though, without land it might simply be very cold water.

[He has to think about it a moment though, considering what may be there.]

But since this is a water planet, it might not be too colder, depending on how ocean currents go it might not be too different since there isn't land to hold things in specific channels.

The local fauna should be rather interesting at the very least.

[Speaking of fauna, it appears that the birdogs have started to creep out of the foliage and approach the pair.]

That is a valid point, one that I admit not considering before hand. Perhaps we should attempt to look over the map we found more thoroughly.

Ah yes! Have we really thought about extended exploration? It might be good to go on a few month voyage just to get a feel for the rest of the planet in some way.

[He can't help but look towards the animals coming closer, he instantly starts to feel a little worried. Not about himself, but... him and animals just did not mix well.]

Ah... what a pretty bird. It probably shouldn't get too close though.

That sounds like an excellent idea. We haven't explored much beyond the areas close by, have we? Or when others have gotten lost and have had to navigate their way back. The more we know about this planet, the closer I feel we will be to unraveling some of its mysteries.

[Kanaya is sure that Jake and by extension Dirk and maybe Dave would be up for it at the very least. The idea is an appealing one, as Kanaya is curious about just how much of the planet they have yet to see.]

They're rather friendly so you might find some difficulty in that.

[The birdogs are repeating the behavior they displayed the last time they saw Kanaya glowing, of wandering up and presenting gifts to her in the form of fruits. The amount of birdogs quickly swells to a packs worth.]

Although I suppose that I have an bit of an advantage it appears.

Ah... but... is it safe for them to gather like this?

[He was now completely distracted by them, slowly getting more and more anxious.]

Fairly. Chompers could take on a fair sized group, but it'd be rather suicidal with such an amount here. Seeing as we are not in a cave, the threat of cave crawlers is also low.

[Kanaya hums as she capchalogues some of the offerings. Waste not want not.]

Overall, Floater Island is one of the most peaceful and safest locations I know of on this planet.

[Looking over and noticing his growing anxiousness, Kanaya gives a knowing look.]

I can shoo them away if you wish.

I just don't want anything to happen because they got to close to me....

[It was always his concern, but animals... he had such a bad track record with them. And they felt so much more vulnerable to bad situations.]
