A: Pulse: A pulse hit the planet! Life support went out, and that super sucks, but it will only last for an hour. Maybe more sucky: some or all of your powers may or may not have died! That's awkward. Are you disappointed you can't walk through walls now? Has nothing changed for you? Are you now a dead girl because you made a deal some aliens? Are you a sword? Have fun kids, and try not to hold a Class Trial.

B: Salvage: That sure was a ship that went down! URSULA identified it as the Narcissus which is apparently a human military ship so obviously this will be safe and no one is going to come across any type of trouble salvaging the ship. Maybe someone should text Naoko to tell her what's going on. Everything is fine.

C: Blanket-sharing meme: You know what you're here for.

D: ETC: Roxy is putting up mistletoe, there are flowers, people keep building stupid things. Do whatever!]

[it's obvious that's what Sorey is rooting for, given his intent focus on Christian and Satine's interactions. Christian is successfully wooing Satine via song on top of a giant elephant, what could be more romantic]

But it should be tempered with some practicality, especially when it's going to get them both in trouble.

I think the whole purpose is for it to be a huge production. Since love is supposed to be this great, big and fantastical thing so they're showing that here? It's like an adrenaline rush, and then when that rush dies down it's probably when they get fucked over somehow.

Drama does make for a better story, but so does the love. It makes you want the best for them.
