In mysterious fathoms below; Closed-ish Mingle 12/12
[When Percy Jackson gets an idea, it's better just to let him do it even if it's probably a bad idea. Such an idea is how a large group of explorers wind up taking a submarine or two out toward the dunes, Percy swimming alongside them to lead them onward before diving down under the dunes. Let's do a little exploring where the water flows below, shall we?]
i.
[Deep under the dunes the group will find several waterfalls and caves to explore on their own. There's also the acid river he mentioned to a few people, all surrounded by tree-like plants in arches and pathways.
The eel is still there and even more agitated Percy brought friends this time. Do try to take care not to get electrocuted, okay?]
ii
[That's about where Percy stopped the first time, but with a crew now it's easier to keep going. Crew members may wish to follow the river northeast where they will all discover an unexpected and massive structure. It's easy to enter the docking area and check out the inside of the base through the dim lighting.
It's clear that it's different than anything else they've seen before. Crew members can explore the different floors but it's clear that every area has one thing in common. What will you do with these aquariums?]
iii
[Because really, the base itself has a lot to look at. Each aquarium houses weird little creatures suspended in a stasis mode. They're definitely not moving, but it appears the tanks can be moveable.
Aside from that, there are also some terminals that could use some attention. Any of our tech-inclined crew members can fiddle with it enough to bring up a video showing someone large tearing into the facility they're in, knocking in the walls until it settles to its current form.
But if you're not interested in weird aliens or weirder terminals, there's plenty to look at. An elevator-type opening appears to be the in-between of the floors. Be careful where you step though seeing how it'll flip you into Zero G.
Or you can explore to your heart's content. Who knows what else you'll find…?]

[What it says on the tin! Here is more information about the mission in-question with other information available. Have fun!]

You, sir, are the first half-alien I've ever met. That's definitely saying something. [He looks at the tube though and frowns while imagining Kon growing in one of these things.] No wonder. [No wonder Kon's not thrilled, he means.] Judging by the terminals in the facility I'd guess they wanted information from them but it's hard to say without getting URSULA'S diagnosis.
[...maybe it's an awkward question, but he can't help but ask.] How'd you get out of your tube?
no subject
He doesn't mind Percy's question, missing the awkwardness completely. The only thing he's even remotely self conscious about is the whole 'clone' thing but people have taken to that a lot easier than he'd expected, both here and in his own world.]
Couple other clones broke me out. See the guy who cloned me was sort of this megalomaniac asshole type and he mostly just wanted someone with Superman's—that's the guy I'm a clone of—powers, except he wanted to like, input commands in my brain so when he used some code words or whatever, I'd be totally under his control. Like some personal weapon of his.
This other group of clones called the Newsboys knew how bad that could be so they broke me out early before the words could be planted in my brain.

So they wanted you to be a living super-robot. What happened to the other clones? And where's that other guy now?
no subject
Westfield—that's the guy I was talking about—is dead, got himself killed. Couldn'tve happened to a nicer guy. [Kon Shrugs, unapologetic. Superheroes didn't kill sure, but that hardly meant he had to pretend to be sorry that a psycho like Westfield had pissed off another psycho and paid the price.]

[But this isn't about Grover. This isn't about him, this is just how he relates to stuff and in a way it's both interesting and sort of a relief that he can understand what's going on in this conversation. Is he bothered that someone wanted to use Kon like that? Sure he is. Kon's a friend and that isn't cool. But Kon seems to be doing fine on his own and that's enough for Percy.]
I'm sure Westfield will be sorely missed. [There's an echoing shrug. Look, he kind of feels that way about Octavian, it's fine.] You know, when you say it like that this place really is paradise. [He shakes his head then, knocking on the tank.] Help me lift this up, will you?
no subject
He just nods along at Percy's paradise comment. It's not like he doesn't want to get home—eventually—but being here really isn't so bad. A moment later he places a hand on the tank and floats it into the air with a big shit eating grin.
What a show off.]
no subject
[He doesn't say anything when Kon uses his powers to float the tank, though he does roll his eyes in response.] Okay, I guess we can do it your way. Should be safe in the sub don't you think?
no subject
Kon snickers at that eye roll and then gives Percy a quick nod.]
Yeah, should be. I can watch over it on the way back. [If anything got weird, he could always use his TTK to reinforce the tank.]
