a. a graceful landing

[ if you are outside at the base island today, you might see something unusual. well, more unusual than normal? this place is weird. but up in the sky, you will see one redheaded teenager and a troll with robot legs just... flying on an anti-tank rifle, following one of URSULA's drones. they seem to both just be chatting, not paying any real attention

which is their downfall because it means that the girl (izetta) does not notice when she steers them right into a goddamn tree. they both die the end. no, they just both fall off the rifle and crash onto the ground. at least they weren't that high up! care to go check on them? ]

b. you saw nothing

[ if you were not around to witness tavros and izetta eat dirt, then you can catch them both wandering around the base, clearly new as they don't seem to know where they are going.

izetta is carrying her rifle and tavros for some reason has a hole in his shirt where his chest is and it also seems to be (bronze) bloodstained? how weird! maybe he hit that tree really hard. anyway, feel free to help them out, they are dumb teens. ]

[ He's really fine. No damage here. It takes a minute to get to his feet though, these legs sure are great but he's not great at using them. He grins wider at the pecking and just looks up to admire it's gorgeous plumage. ]

He's so, big, and colorful, wow. [ Extending a hand, then wait, okay ask permission Tavros you know touching other people's lusii or mind controlling them isn't nice even if they are right there. ] Uh, can I pet him?

Yes! As long as he doesn't object. [She is looking him over carefully and OKAY he seems to be okay. No kidnapping him to healers, then. Tavros got lucky, THIS TIME!] But he's always been very friendly to people who are friendly to him.

[ Okay, with that said, he extends a hand to the giant bird - placing it close but not on him so he make the decision on being pet or not. ]

Oh, uh... I'm Tavros, by the way.

[The Loftwing is friendly. Maybe that's his natural disposition, or maybe Tavros is just charming af to animals. Maybe both. Either way, the Loftwing immediately starts using his beak to groom Tavros's hair.]

[ WHAT A GREAT BIRD. Tavros laughs and pats it gently. ]

Have, you been here long? Or, uh, are you maybe, from here?

No, we're from another world too. We've only been here for only a month and a half. I'm very grateful that he was with me when I came.

[She gives her bird a pet which he clearly appreciates? Briefly nuzzles Zelda's hair before turning back to Tavros and attempting to groom his horns, now. They're like temple beaks! Gotta keep 'em clean.]

How much do you know about where you are and how you got here?

Uhh... Not very much, actually. I mostly just know that, I was in space, but, I'm here now. [ And not dead, but that's neither here nor there. he glances over at Izetta - mindful of not swinging his head too far and accidentally smacking his poor new bird friend. ]
