A: The Narcissus
[Any hardworking souls who've decided to spend their post-holiday time scavenging the Narcissus have made a huge mistake--they're now stuck with newbies.
There's the sound of a crash from near the computer terminals, followed by some hushed bickering and a weirdly bright light that dims after a moment but doesn't entirely go away. Anyone who investigates will find Angemon standing guard and looking apprehensive while Takeru ineffectually holds his D-3 up to one of the computers like maybe that worldhopping trick will work again if he just keeps at it long enough. His hat's slightly askew, but he totally did not fall out of a computer and land on the floor in a heap like some kind of amateur just a minute ago, don't be silly.
When approached, Takeru turns around and smiles like this is all Completely Normal.]
Uh, hi. We're here to help?
B: Anywhere around the base
[One trip and a few basic explanations later... Takeru is taking this way too well. It helps that it's not his first alternate universe rodeo, and as far as 'stuck here until further notice' scenarios go, a guy could do a lot worse than a well-stocked high tech base with its own social network. (It's only even the second worst weird ocean world he's seen, which... counts for something, probably?)
With Patamon perched on his shoulder and chatting away, Takeru can be found following the map on his communicator around the base to check out the areas that seem important. He's more than happy to introduce himself to anyone he runs across.]
I'm Takeru Takaishi and this is Patamon. We're new here, so we're trying to meet everyone.
[Yeah, there's a network for that, but low-key assessing your new teammates under the guise of friendliness tends to be a bit trickier over text.]
