[He doesn't sound disbelieving--heck, he's only lived with humans for like a few months--just curious for a certifiable source that humans are obsessed with romance.]

I have very intensely studied human culture over the last few years, as I literally had absolutely nothing better to do because of a bunch of bullshit that you most likely do not care about so I won't bother to explain. Anyway, because of this research I think I have a very accurate understanding of how romantic love is portrayed in human society in comparison to everything else.

[ he just marches right up to him, muttering under his breath the whole way. except for karkat, "muttering" is talking at a normal speaking volume, so sorey probably notices him by the time he's right in front of him. ]

Well that was a lot of bullshit I just had to deal with.
