He has been trying to evaluate Karkat within the frame of a reasonably grown teenager with a modicum of life experience, when he sees that he should have been tolerating Karkat's various faux pas as he would a knee-scraping second grader's.

You're right that foul language in itself isn't always an indication of ill intent. But combined with your constant shouting and generally grumpy mien, it all comes together to form a certain image. Like an angry Sentai robot.

I can't not yell though. This is literally the normal volume of my voice. I do not willingly choose for it to be this loud, this is my default setting.
