[ Kara has cleared out a landing site just outside the area of the ship Mimi was camped in. Each member of the party has been given a rough map marking the more thickly forested areas, contours marked for hills, and an arrow in the water indicating the general direction back to the underwater base. There are Xs for where the old shipwreck emerges through the green, but only those visible from the air, if you're on foot you're on your own. In Kon's handwriting, the maps are all labelled Amity Island in block letters. The wildlife is friendly unless provoked; we can't vouch for the plants. ]

[ The body itself is in a sturdy wood coffin resting on a bed of freshly dug earth, the lid can be easily pushed off. Time to get cracking. ]

[She... probably should have expected this by now. She lowers her chainsaw to point away from Tsumiki.]

I promise. In fact, if anyone tries to hurt you, just let me know and I will take care of them.

I suppose so, but that can be rectified with time. We are all stranded on this planet together though, so we should all work to get along.

[That and Tsumiki's triggering her parental tendencies.]

... B-But you still can't use that in an autopsy.

[Kanaya smiles and nods at her thanks, but pauses and looks at her chainsaw once she is informed about it not being usable.]

Right, I suppose that while they are good for amputations, Chainsaws are not known for their delicacy.

[Kanaya promptly switches her chainsaw back to lipstick with a flick of her wrist.]

W-whoa! How did you...?

It's a function of it. I'm not sure how it works exactly, as I do not think I would be able to put it back together if I dissected it.

[Mechanics arn't Kanaya's forte.]

W-wow... Kazuichi's mind would be blown if he saw that.

I think he was actually too scared to appreciate it at the time. I heard him screaming when he first arrived, though he was being attacked, and ran into the room with my chainsaw out. It was perhaps not one of my greatest moments.

[Kanaya looks rather sheepish admitting this.]

[Knowing Kazuichi, this is not terribly surprising.

... Knowing ANYONE'S REACTION TO SOMEONE CHARGING INTO A ROOM WITH A CHAINSAW, it's still not terribly surprising.]

Well, it was certainly a valuable reminder to not go needlessy keeping my chainsaw out.
