I'm disappointed to see a lack of diversity in our entertainment. Given the work we're doing, I thought there'd be a greater selection to choose from.

Therefore, I propose we use this space to bring URSULA's attention to any media she should have in her databases. We clearly can't accept whatever people suggest willy-nilly, so I will preside as a judge to help filter submissions.

While I'm unsure if this counts, I do adore the Sweet Bro and Hella jeff content that we have. It's so entertaining and well-written!

[ ADA… IS JUST REFUSING TO BE PART OF THIS CONVERSATION. ] And though I don't think we have it, a favourite show of mine back home was a horror/suspense anthology series called Recountments.

It was so interesting to watch because you had to keep track of what the character was saying and what was being shown on the screen. The viewer had to decide if they're telling the truth, they're lying, or if they're hiding information. Debates on forums certainly got lively after each broadcast!

Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff is an amateur's work. It may as well be called Sweet Bro: One Hella Joke.

I do love a mystery, especially mind benders.

A favourite episode of mine is called 'The 42 Hours' in which its actually two episodes worth. it's about the disappearance of a young woman in her home and how differently the family and the police see each other's actions during that time. It was boggling to see something so innocuous be turned to something suspicious, or to hear something harsh actually be well-meaning depending on the episode you watch.

[Crimes have always been an interest of Chara's. Crime shows especially.]

Human perception is fragile, easily distorted.
That's what makes watching such shows fun.
It's a reminder of how nothing is ever as it seems.

Are any of the animes you mentioned in your list similar to it or is there any anime you think I should watch if I can ask that? I have been meaning to watch more things from the media we have.

Well, it depends. Most of the suggested shows draw from fantasy and science fiction. Despite their fantastical nature, all of them inspect human nature with a nuanced eye. The closest to 'The 42 Hours' would have to be 'Mob Pass.' Have you heard of it?

I haven't! I wasn't allowed to watch anime when I was growing up. Do you think I should add this to my list of things to watch while I'm here on the base?

Well, Death Diary may be a good choice. Psychological thrillers seems up your alley, right?

They're so fascinating to me because of how compelling and dark they are. Especially when it comes to figuring out who is really with who and what is going on.

You didn't tell me you'd watched the SBAHJ films. Did you sit through them all?

I did! Usually while Ada is sleeping so she doesn't make commentary all the time.

They're really fun to watch; they're certainly more entertaining than watching 'The Virtue and the Voltage' or 'War and Peace' back home. [ apparently, being a lady meant one wasn't supposed to lower yourself in terms of 'one's consumption of art and media' as ma'am mercer had worded it. ]

They're my favorite films of all time to say the least, although I have to say I'm surprised. Not many people find them actually that watchable.
Have you gotten to try many other media that we have here?

I'm admittedly curious of these 'Disney' movies the others are speaking of. Bambi sounds cute from the name alone so I'm thinking of watching that next if we have it here.
