[This is the first time Komeada has used the network to broadcast anything himself. He's smiling, though that's pretty typical for him, but there's a slight awkwardness to it.]

It would seem that by happenstance I've become a father.

[He sighs deeply, it is a rather purposeful sigh.]

I'm at a bit of a loss of what to do now though. I've been trying to look up information on how to go about it but the recourses are a bit lacking.

Biology was never really something I looked too deeply into. It seems a bit unlucky to be burdened by this so suddenly.

[He brightens at the next part though.]

However, I guess it is a rather lucky encounter to be bestowed a life to nurture!

Even though I was assaulted and insulted in the process.

[He sighs again, this one more genuine.]

Now I feel rather tired. So... yes, if someone could please help me, I don't really have enough stamina left to try and figure this out right now.

[And he does look rather drawn and tired. Paler than usual.]

[ That's when Undyne makes her grand appearance in the video feed, but not before setting off any number of crashes and explosions in the background? Did half the base just go up in flames? Sure sounds like it, but that's hardly important. Anyway... ]

That's cheating Hinata kun, it's like you're saying you would miss me and want me around.

[And that... would definitely be bad. Even though his tone was his typical generic "happy".]

Being on this world is definitely good luck, since the simulation was most likely bad. But, perhaps I simply haven't been here long enough to think better about it.

[He pauses a moment, he was seceding in his own way.]

Perhaps if I speak with Tsumiki san more honestly she'll know what to ask and look for this time. Though... a neurologist would be more comforting to have here.

[Despite everything, despite his tone trying to stay casual and carefree like it was nothing, he could still feel a weight on him. Though, the weight might be a little lighter now. It always did feel a little better after talking to Hinata, though perhaps talking to anyone would have done, but he could never quite bring himself to reveal this much to others.]

[He just tilts his head, one step short of rolling his eyes in exasperation at the other boy. He... honestly doesn't know how to answer that. He's relieved, on one hand, to know that one of his classmates is here where he can try to keep them safe. Away from Monokuma, away from the tragedy of the island.

But also... Komaeda is unpredictable, and even with all his reassurances, trust once broken is not so easily fixed.]

Yeah... who knows, maybe one will show up here. People seem to just appear without any pattern these days.

[He pushes himself to his feet, though, shoving his hands in his pockets.]

Get some rest, Komaeda. I'm sure Tsumiki or Valentine will be back soon. I want you to talk to them then and tell me what they say. And... Komaeda.

[He looks at him again, more seriously this time.]

It's fine if you don't want to always tell me the truth, but... at least be honest with them. They'll try to help you.

If that's what you wish, I'll try and oblige.

[And despite everything still pick and choose what he says and how he says it. But it was true, they would try and help him, but at the same time that was something he didn't exactly want. His feelings were conflicting though. But, it was true that this was a science fiction sort of place, a fantasy place as well. There was hope here, and perhaps his hope didn't have to be having a meaningful end. Though that wasn't something he could quite let go of.]

I'll wait here for one of them and talk with them if I see them.

[He paused a moment remembering a much more important thing than his own current health!]

Ah, Hinata kun, when you leave, can you make sure Fukuro chan makes it to where it needs to go to thrive. It probably shouldn't be out of the water for too long.

[Who was he talking about? Fukuro chan? Yes he just named the egg right then and there and made a reference to Fukurokuju one of the seven lucky gods.]

[That's... probably the best he's going to get out of someone like Komaeda. Hinata shakes his head and pulls a hand out of his pocket to run through his hair distractedly. He's trying to figure out just how he can make sure Komaeda does follow through, but... this time, it seems, he has to trust him.

But he's already turned around to leave when Komaeda mentions that last bit, and he pauses, turning with a frown.]

...What? Who's Fukuro-chan?

[Bag-chan? Tell him Komaeda didn't name the egg after a bag, that'd be absurd even for him.]

Fukurokuju, I decided to name it after one of the Seven Lucky gods.

[He was quite pleased with himself about it. He felt it was clever.]

[Is that... really a good idea?

He just sighs and nods.]

Make sure you tell Undyne you've named the egg... I think she's going to want to know. And might make you change it if she doesn't like it.

Oh... true. You have a good point, she seems to be rather maternal over it. I'll make sure to tell her, and get approval.

[His tone hinted that he just realized she might actually have some claim and shared interest. It wasn't just his egg to do with as he pleased. Still, if she didn't like the name he would just convince her otherwise. ]

You guys are in this together, whether you want to be or not.

[What a mess... he just sighs and shakes his head in some resignation. As soon as he leaves here, he's going to call Dave and see what he thinks about the egg. For now... apparently he needs to get used to the idea of people like Komaeda and Undyne being parents.]

Please don't put it like that, it feels a bit upsetting.

[Theoretically he could probably be a good parent, or at least be an organized and clean one.]

If you're really dedicated to raising whatever hatches from this egg... you're going to have to work together with her. That's all I meant.

[Just shakes his head again. How does Komaeda keep ending up in these kinds of absurd situations...? Is luck really so powerful?]

[Luck is the most powerful thing there is.]

I'm not going to argue that fact, but I wouldn't mind trading either.

[He offers a smile though.]

I think I've been with her enough now to judge her properly however, so perhaps from now on it will work better.

[She seemed a pretty easy person to potentially influence in his desired way.]
