[Wowee! We get hit with a pulse on the seventh! Isn't that fun! Also, a ship crashed, and baby it's cold inside. Some prompts.

A: Pulse: A pulse hit the planet! Life support went out, and that super sucks, but it will only last for an hour. Maybe more sucky: some or all of your powers may or may not have died! That's awkward. Are you disappointed you can't walk through walls now? Has nothing changed for you? Are you now a dead girl because you made a deal some aliens? Are you a sword? Have fun kids, and try not to hold a Class Trial.

B: Salvage: That sure was a ship that went down! URSULA identified it as the Narcissus which is apparently a human military ship so obviously this will be safe and no one is going to come across any type of trouble salvaging the ship. Maybe someone should text Naoko to tell her what's going on. Everything is fine.

C: Blanket-sharing meme: You know what you're here for.

D: ETC: Roxy is putting up mistletoe, there are flowers, people keep building stupid things. Do whatever!]

[even more uncertain; seraphim get tired sometimes, but not in the same dragging way he's feeling. he has no frame of reference for hunger at all...]

Like...your stomach feels empty, or you want to lie down and close your eyes. There might be...side effects like that.

Empty might be a word for it...and I kind of want to lie down, but not, um. Here. Sorey, what are you trying to say...

Well...if your abilities as a seraphim have been weakened, and everyone can see you, I wasn't sure if there would be more--stuff like that. Human things?

[He has no idea how to say it less tactfully than that but "we're not longer pacted and everyone can see you and you don't seem to have any water seraph abilities" only leads to a few different conclusions]

[looks at him in a blank sort of way; not rejection, just...confused]

No idea. That's just what it looks like is happening. Or, if not human, a rough equivalent.

[he does seem to relax a little as he realizes where they're going]

We won't even know for sure unless we run lab tests or something.

Valentine might have her hands full with all of...this. But we can run some tests if you want to.

[hesitating at the door to the library, waiting to see if Mikleo wants to change directions and head for the labs]

[he also hesitates, but heads right into the library instead]

If it gets more troublesome we can go to the labs, but for now...quiet's probably best.

[following him in and heading for the bookshelves. he keeps one eye on Mikleo, but otherwise browses through their collection for something he hasn't read yet]

There might not be a need to run tests if everything is back to normal in a few hours anyways.

Do you think it will be...? This is--this is pretty drastic.

I'm...hoping it all goes back to normal soon. We don't have any evidence that it's temporary, but we don't have any to indicate that it's permanent either. I'd rather think it will go back to normal, or we can fix it.

[he quirks a tiny smile]

And I don't think I can get used to that hair color.
